    Also: Exactly, my question exactly. Everytime I DL and install these "updated drivers" from ATI's site, the damn drivers detect my card as a frickin VisionTek card. Does the same damn thing if I goto sapphiretech.com and DL their drivers. Every. Single. Time. It MUST be one of two things: A) Faulty Drivers B) Faulty Card. Possible 3rd scenario: C) End-user driver install error. With nVidia drivers, it's quite simple: New card, uninstall old drivers, install new card, install new drivers, update. Why can't it be the same with ATI? It's frustrating.

    Next question: Why in the world do I keep getting these crash errors while trying to start up City of Heroes using a Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 AGP card? I'm damn tired of downloading, uninstalling, cleaning and installing drivers.

    Damn this card anyway. Think I'll just send the stupid thing back for a frickin Nvidia card.

    The 5th Column are making a comeback to Paragon City. They're bringing in Reichsman, who is, IIRC, the Praetorian Nazi version of Statesman (do I have this right?)

    Anyway, long story short, the devs made these two gloriously new arcs, a task force for heroes and a strike force for villains, in order to stop/aide the 5th Column. I haven't run the redside version yet, so I'm kinda guessing the villains are trying to help the 5th Column (or they might be stopping the 5th Column...depends on how much money is in it for them. Doesn't really matter though - the villains being "hired" by Barricuda are probably just smiling to the 5th Column's faces as they stab 'em in the back...)

    Oh, blueside, there's something about Reichsman trying to subvert 4 AVs to his will (Nemesis, the Carnie chick, a Malta guy, and Countess Crey.) Also, you have to go through like 4 missions just to get a weapon that can drop Reichsman's [GODMODE] so you can hurt em good.

    There? Are you happy now? Just ruined it for everyone else.

  11. Wait a minute...you mean it's NOT an EULA violation to delete your main character in the game? What in the hell...

    I'm never deleting my first 3 level 50 characters...a claws/regen scrapper, a katana/regen scrapper and a sonic/nrg blaster. Couldn't do it. Not even if hell froze over, the devs nerfed em to kingdom come, AND the apocalypse was around the corner if I didn't delete those 3 characters.

    That's why there's all those other servers in the game...you play on Pinnacle, you alt out on those others.

    Anyway. I can't force you to keep your characters, nor can I tell you to delete em, either. There is, however - other options. Buy new slots, transfer if needed, or resort to deletion. If you absolutely have to have more alts, just make a bunch on other servers ... although you might wind up with over 100 alts like me...

    PvP: The group is fairly new, founded in 2007, and just recently picking up some activity. No dedicated PvP'ing in the group (yet). Personally, I'm not a hardcore PvP'er, but if I need to go into a PvP zone for badges or whatever, I will.

    On a lighter note: Finally got my katana/regen scrapper, Obligo, up to level 50. This was about ... two weeks ago now? Somewhere around there. Thanks in large part to all those on PinnBadges constantly requesting members to form ITF teams. Many thanks also go out to Cirkuit and Serena Fire Flame for joining me on ITF #1 that night. Actually dinged 50 on a second ITF later that same night.

    • Size of Base: Small. There are eight (8) teleport pads with 16 beacons in the base now, a medbay, inspiration bin and base salvage bin.
    • Requirements: First promotion is at 10,000 prestige. Promotions based on prestige gained, task forces completed in SG mode, gaining accomplishment/accolade badges. There’s plenty of opportunity for advancement in the SG.

    Don't really see too many arachnids in hordes, but giant, alien spiders in hordes? That'd be pretty hellacious.

    Yes, people can also be found in hordes too - for mammals it's more a pack mentality than a horde - but same difference, basically.
