    In that case I'll try a similar build on test with Invincibilty instead of aid other, wouldn't be without invinc, as it could be a saving grace if I get ganked by multiple players. Though I'm not sure of the values to +def in pvp!

    Think you have cracked it with the single slot in lunge, since that's not my primary attack & only a fill in, it can certainly warrant only 1 slot, when I get the really nice stuff further on.

    1 question though, why the heal other? Sorry haven't scrapped for a long time in pvp (so may have missed the point on this!).

  19. I'm looking for a build that will provide support but also allow me enough endurance to take part in the battle, partly pvp/pve.

    I don't trust not having the fitness pool really, running Assault + tactics. In worst case scenario I've also never tried casting PA, Phantasm & maybe Spectral Terror without the fitness pool, I'm guessing I'd be pretty much out of steam. Although maybe hasten + conserve power & RecAura would see me through. My playstyle tends to be the 'chaotician' controller (being the controlled chaos set!) & I never ignore my secondary, rapidly switching from spamming blind to healing/buffing to hellbent on saving that/those red teamer/s.

    Not a fan of the leaping pool with the squishies I've played, for me it kind of feels like 'crocodile stepping stones', and find fly much more accessible for my style of play.

    I've been looking through builds here & quite like a couple of them, playing around with HeroBuilder too, but I just can't find a build that will not be missing something I have got so used to using (and I know this applies to every AT as you can't have it all!)

    Sorry to ramble on!

    Any ideas on builds please?

    I don't like the bendy fireballs. Basically, there's no skill involved in actually hitting someone, it's calculated by the server.

    The only skill involved is movement and choosing the right powers at the right time. Anyone who is seen as skilled in pvp is basically somebody who clicks buttons in an efficient order. This renders it completely pointless in my view.

    Also, certain powersets are at a huge advantage.

    Being perma held and slowly killed is no fun, neither is being forced to carry a full tray of break frees just to play pvp.

    basically, I just hate the general arrogance and by contrast whininess of pvp players. It's like some kind of giant ********** where everyone pats each other on the back in certain cliques . All my perception of course.

    The only people who nearly made me enjoy pvp was an ice tank called the ice duke who had a really great attitude and made me laugh, and cassandraa who almost convinced me that a tank can be useful in pvp.

    But mostly I hate pvp because it has been crowbarred into this game at the expense of the pve game. Pvp is basically responsible for the watering down of the pve game. This is cold hard FACT despite what statesman says in his press releases written by alistair campbell.

    Totally identify with the clique bit! I only really enter pvp zones for badges (Still don't have Rocketman either as I lost my nerve a while ago with just 2 to launch!). Entered zones where there's been this idle banter over broadcast, while folk are killing eachother - this just detracts from the game for me & makes it feel kind of cheap, lol it reminds me of when I used to play Quake, but that was a different game altogether as it did rely on skill with only a crosshair. I'm glad you mentioned the targetting element, so true, it is dependant on your cycle of powers only really & your deftness is movement (if u have enough breakfrees in your tray!).

    Personally, I don't like pvp in this game but used to love it in other games where you were all the same & skill was the factor. Many of my mates love pvp-ing in CoH, so much so that I hardly ever get to team with them anymore now , obviously don't begrudge them that, as it really comes down to preference/choice. I just hope there is going to be more pve development in CoH, but I think I might be dreaming a bit too much.
