Okay mates,
As we shrugged off Double Rewards weekend we can focus on the task at hand. What will you think about Statsman TF on this weekend, Sunday?

I only use Mu on my tankers (currently have 2: one will be deleted and one will be change into scrapper if future brings EM/EA to scrappers) for an extra attack. -
As i finally begin to see difference on Apostle, i can reply to your posts.
Currently he is running Combat Jump and Maneuvers. It is nice to see "Dodged"s floating over his head. As he teamed up with bubblers mainly, wow i was invincible.
If we come to increase defense case, i think with hover it will be enough. I changed my slotings and sets so i will get nice regen and +HP points. I don't like to get Frozen Armor as this new set of heroes are concept heroes but i think +Res from body armor which isn't a toggle will be a nice addition to my list of powers.
Before Apostle my favorite blaster set was Sonic. I changed him with my sonic blaster for a while last night and found out (maybe just because i have a special link to this character as he is one of my own created comic heroes nearly 15 years ago, just like Psy-knight) no other blaster can make me feel a real hero as Apostle.

I like to see a light based set for Controllers or Defenders or Blasters.
And crossing the line a bit i want to see a new AT for heroes. Assault/Defense+control or buff type one with medium hp and high/medium damage. My first suggest for an Assault set is Pistols and Martial Arts mixture so i can make an Angel for myself. -
I leveled my second main from lvl 15 to 32. Yay finally have Nova.
Completed: Faultline Arc, Citadel TF and nearly Croatoa arc (on last contact iirc 3 or 2 missions left)
Funny thing is i didn't have much inf. Maybe because i didn't bother to go WW and sell stuff and deleted them instead. -

The Roman caves I'm fine with, I mean the cave maps you usually find council on. With the really small tunnels where everything around you looks the same, makes me really disoriented and sick.

Yup, i can hear you. After 1,5 Citadel Task Force on the weekend i started to think that one is the most annoying TF of the game (Even it is a common belief that Positron is long and annoying, Citadel wins Most Annoying TF award with its maps and stupid council mobs).
But still i can't decide which part of those maps i find more annoying, tunnels or that parts with pools. -
Just for you information. I've started to collect your answers and making a list. Soon we will see the results for EU controllers.

yes, I can see your point about hitting hte cap, but that was always a risk in CoX. I remember before they patched it, not being able to team because i played as par tof a team and outlevelled my contacts meaning no more missions, no more contacts being introduced. I only had one contact who could give me missions so I couldnt afford to take the chance of outlevelling him!
Isnt ITF 35-50 ? if so, i'd be more than happy to hit the level cap over the weekend

If i recall correctly you can't reach the cap for Numina's or Manticore's (means 6 levels) even on Double XP weekends.
For contact-wise i like Zone contacts more than other missions which force you two travel around city endlessly. So Faultline -> Croatoa -> Rikti War Zone is my main course with my heroes outside the Task Forces which i love to no end. Only other important contact for me has a wide range (10-50) for entering Midnighter's Club. -

Even i don't have any characters on Defiant other than my Psychic Patrol heroes i wanted to say something about DXP and TFs.
If you aren't high level like past 30 (never did manticore on DXP) entering a TF to level up is kinda wasting an opportunity as you hit the TF cap without Double XP.
For Double XP i think as usual i will hit the Faultline and PuG till the arc finishes. Maybe later i can start some TFs as my highest at the moment is lvl 25 (Yay finally i have a 50)

Okay as you are only 4 if you can remind me on Wednesday nights i can join with my lvl 13 (don't know what level he will be after DXP weekend but a change further than 14 seems unlikely) TA/Ice defender.
I have another at lvl 1, a dark/dark but as she is still unclear on AT(possibly will change into a scrapper) i don't want to risk things. -

He he! Last night's Statesman TF was a blast, even if we couldn't take down LR himself, i am sure poor GW still whinning about that fast defeat.
A million thanks to all who joined (Katianna, Buffylicious, Grand Slam, Migician, Flameable Blue and Electric Rose) and made my dream come true. As i said... hmm nope promised we will try that again on a future date.
One thing buggers me since last night tho. Did we use Strength of Will, i mean did Grand use it? Maybe instead of thinking tactical i should better kept your powers in mind. (Heh even my nickname from youth is Cyclops i am more of a low level Leader like Rogue)

Or you can isolate the bosses by phasing the rest (with the right slotting)- use it properly and it's great; I much prefer it to sleeps where an idiot blaster can undo all your hard work.

He he! You are right. This is why if someone asks me which is the best solo controller, i will answer as Mind right away. Even they are good in teams as all controllers, they have much field to work on their delicate business while soloing. -

As i don't like Dimension Shift too your friends can die as you try to shoot an enemy with a sink or pot plant. -
Thanks, Tenshi. I will be there at that time and will see how things will turn out. Even we can't have enough people to do Statesman TF we can do that Squid's TF (not actually TF but you have a chance to fight side by side with Phalanx members) which is fairly short and don't have any member limit according to Paragonwiki. As it is shorter than normal TFs no special badge or rare recipe will be given out.
For my ding to 50, fighting shoulder to shoulder with Synapse will be a nice place as much as States TF.
We can always arrange a Statesman TF on upcoming weekends if we can't do it tomorrow.

Mentioned TF or story arc is given by Mender Silos not Squid (Twilight's Son) which is 46-50 level range but according to Paragonwiki it is bugged. -

That mentioned Statesman TF've been completed. And we didn't do any other Sunday morning run since then.
If you want to join Statesman TF i will try to run one tomorrow evening at 20:00 BST. But as there are no replies to the thread so don't get your hopes high. If you will feel like you want to do it any other day just give me a shout from my global @Knightly and i will attend gladly if i don't have any time issues. -
Empathy is a sole buff set. If you are more offensive/active (if you can find time to attack tho) a troller empath is better than a defender one.
My choice of primary will be Illusion. Illusion's real power lies in its pets so after you summon your pets you can focus on healing without being risked. Also Superior Invisibility accompanied with TP can open ghosting missions option for you.
Even with that good sides i find playing an Illusion controller very dull. Nothing good until you get PA other than Superior Invisibility. I never liked late bloomer sets anyway. -
Hmmm well you know what, that regen and HP total much likely to him. He has regeneration power(i mean the original one. Sigh maybe i should design simplier heroes but there wasn't CoH while i was creating those heroes. Heh actually those two (Apostle and Psy-knight) are better ones, the ones without travel powers, well they will be real pain)
For Mid's, my current version is 1.401 updated at 07/07/08.
As you can't copy paste, my current defense is (with Combat Jumping, Manuevers and Hover) 16,4% Melee, 13.9% ranged and 19.5% for AoE. And that won't change with Frozen Armor. It just adds on Slashing and Lethal resistance. -
As my main on Union will be lvl 50 soon i've decided to roll another one of my own comic heroes as a CoH version.
The problem was finding the right AT. For making your imagination easier he is like Iron Man in most concepts (actually more powerful than him ^^) tough, has long range blasts and high strength. So as high damage more good to represent his power i decided to go for a blaster. The problem is; i want him to be more tougher than an avarage blaster (also many times he will be in melee). I decided to go for Defense, Blasters low hit points don't go well with resistance or +regen and extra hit points won't help him to survive much longer.
So here is my planned build (which can be [censored] as i am not good with numbers), if you help with the build and making him tougher than normal i will be very happy.

Hmmm some points i must explain i guess,
Most slottings are for +recharge, + def and + acc bonusses.
I choose Body Armor for being an auto power which means no additional end. cost. Even it is +res armor it accepts +3 def/res proc which is good.
Acrobatics maybe a good choice for resisting KB and Hold but instead of having one useless power in build i picked Hover for extra def (if they didn't change it also a bit KB protection) and Tactics for extra +hit buff. Vengeance is just a bonus for team. (Heh as a blaster i will be most reliable vengeance candidate tho) -

Hmmm maybe something like Days of Dark Skies where CoT finally find a way to bring demons to the world and started to establish their kingdom to its old glorious days... with the help (willingly or forced) of the Cabal and some other Croatoa factions?
Umm maybe real Werewolves and Vampires versus that lab created ones??? And of course mummies, everyone loves mummies with their dissease and fear effect. (Well that was another game but still seeing a mummy will be nice.
Maybe Gods from Olympos or Dragons of the East and West or Ancients souls of Mayans etc. etc.
Yup some magical threat will be good, especially as now we had Midnighter Club. (Also maybe Archwizard/Archmage as a Epic AT)
