  3. if you look at the new spawn compisitions in AP and GC you will notice that there are a few contaminated in gemini park (i think that is the name, the one by perez gateway), I don't know if they count towards the badge and they are not there all the time but while flying through the zone I found one once.

    That was pretty much my reaction, too.

    All the physics are client side only, and no information about them is passed from client to server -- so, it's strictly a visual on your machine. That means, there is no way for people to play volleyball, or kickball. We could put one in that only you, the player, would see, but I imagine that isn't what everyone would like.

    I continue to advocate the BRB, it would provide enjoyment for characters pets, and instead of using trolls for force bolt tennis we could use an actual ball! Plus I still want to see the lil fire imps spaz all over the ball because they keep wanting to destroy it.

    Alright Hold Phase for the Hami Raid and, hey wait a minute who kicked the BRB across the field, I saw that which one was what......no the ball has caused lag we are all D/Cing, the BRB has caused us to lose to HAMI!

The Big Red Ball shall be an AV with immense I7 Regen rates and 1,000,000hp, why you ask.......Because it is a big red ball of course it is nigh invulnerable, it will take a hami-raid in order to destroy it in order to gain the most rare of rare salvage, peice of red rubber, when properly crafted will gift your hero/villian base with it's very own Big Red Ball!

    Who would want to fight Hami, when you can gather 100heroes together to attack a big red ball that is calmly rolling around Galaxy City. Oh now the lvl 1 vahz has the ball, what will the heroes do! The heroes cannot attack, the lag would d/c them all.

    Quickly mez the ball it is the only way to victory! Send Fluffy to FEAR the ball!

    Another strategy with GW is attacks that do not require a target to hit, FSC, ISC, Whirling Hands, Rain of Mew, Force Bubble, etc.... If you slot even 1 acc you can hit more often than not. For my brute that is a common strategy I use even for Longbow Spec Ops, either whirly hands where they are, or wait for them to attack, get their stealth suppressed so I can target them, and stun the hell out of them, or best tactic of them all run up to Spec Op.....FE+BU+Energy Transfer = You die now!

    that there is an emote to turn yourself into a pumpkin. Can we do that with the big red ball.....While the big red ball is out on the field you emote yourself into an identical big red ball to confuse your enemies while fluffy attempts to terrorize the real ball into submission! Yay for the big red ball!

  17. Heres a thought with Civvies, why not make them part of the mechanism that determines how powerful a hero is when they show (i don't mean Lt. Boss EB AV)I mean in terms of names (generic whoever, Positron, Statesman). Generic villian is stealing money okay send monkeyboy hero to deal with it, Ravager of Darkness (or whoever) is attacking and killing (teleporting, phasing, whatever you want to have happen to them)then a bigger named hero has to show up.

    It would be even nice if that could play into the mechanism of escaping, Here comes the hero who is going to frag me, let me knock those civvies on a fire (that I placed ) So he will be temporarily distracted saving the civvies while I make a run for the door. Look in the comics (Our BIBLES!) Often times when the villians get in trouble they do something that puts the ordinary people in harms way so that it will distract the hero so they can get away.

    Given the magnitude of this idea I realize that the coding of this would be a nightmare (I do code so I have a little experience in this stuff not just talking out of my hairball )
    But it would allow for some tactics, and possibly change up the narrative on some of these heroes. As far as game balance goes even if using the civvies as a distraction to attack the hero that would be fine, how many 1-shots have you gotten on an EB lately

    Just some thoughts........(chases ball of yarn.)
  18. have not had a chance to play but quick question, do the thugs play more like mercs that prefer ranged attacks? or more like a mix (or do they even have anything for melee other than brawl)
  19. Im curious what does the xp look like from mayhem missions compared to the old way of just the bank heist. I ask because I wonder if this is a conscious decision at lower lvls to make sure every character cannot play out every early story arc, as it is in port oakes I have a hard enough time getting all the story arc badges and temp pwrs before outleveling them (thus proving the point).

    I'm not saying whether this is good or bad, I can see the use in making sure no character can run through every single story arc, to make sure you have to role another one to see everything.
