The only real dilution is in $$/month.
I can afford one MMO, plus I don't want to have altitis across two MMOs.

For Brutes SD has an inherent taunt component and the range is indeed NMT 10 ft.
Unless those elements were changed for the Corruptor version, I would beware taking this power.
Being rooted for 2.4 seconds amongst 3-8 baddies while taunting AND drawing aggro is no place for a Corruptor to be.
You may be able to trigger [insert your favorite 'Nova' power here], but will you survive its 2-3 second activation time with all that attention on ya? -

Thus Zapp is underpowered unless the Banes have energy resist. On top of all that, the activation time for the Mu version of Zapp is about 1.5x to 2x as long as the blaster version. This needs to be fixed since all the info given about the power in game is incorrect and misleading.
Of course, since I only use it on things that can see through stealth and for pulling, I got it for the range. *shrug*

Things change on test w/o notice or notes sometimes, but last week, upon one round of testing, it appears that Banes resist Smashing to the tune of ~42-43%.
Bane do not resist Negative Energy and I will test Energy later today. -

Again, the damage listed does not fit neatly into the dev's own damage scales. What's up with that? It may be a rounding issue I guess. Anyway, for an attack with a BI of 3.602, that endo use and recharge are way high.

FWIW, I have yet to see a rounded number in the combat log, so most likely any Cryptic listed damage number is rounded (up or down, I dunno). Numbers from someone with the power may help to narrow the sig figs. -

That recharge is a definate put off to the pet powers though. I hope the feedback we provide promotes a positive change in this PPP.

Yeah, the idea is for anyone to be able to determine accurate damage at any level, for any power once this work is done. Apparently, ShreikSilver (I think I'm misspelling that) is already onboard with a willingness to retool his planner based upon this new system.
My small role (many others are helping) is just to help gather data. But yes, any planner based upon this new system should be very cool and extremely helpful to all. -

FWIW, from the broadcast log and other forums, the problem seems to be global and not just Mako. Bug it each time, unless it's noted as a known issue. -

Well I dont really know any good testing methods, so if you guys have any suggestions, ill try itand post my results here.
Anyway, i took this power out for a test drive in RV, and... not too helpfull lol. It seems that any hero who has any kind of mez protection is completly unaffected by it except for the low dmg it does, but when its not knocking them around it just sits on them and turns into a steady DoT, only like 2-4 dmg per tick though.

I'll save you the long explanation (it deals with a new system of determining damage and such, that is MUCH more accurate than BI numbers. The links below are for the long explanation).
Soooo....if you have the time, go to Mercy and attack any minon baddies you want, but ensure they are the same level 1, 2 or 4...it doesnt matter, just choose a level and stick with it.
Attack with brawl and all of your primaries.
Do not use any buffs.
Note...
-your level
-baddies level (again should be the same for each test)
-attack used
-whether that attack is classified as 'range' or 'melee'
-damage per attack (from your combat log, decimal point and all)
-and your total damage enhancement percentage from each attack (go to the "manage" [enhancements] screen and roll your mouse over each power to get this number. again, decimal point and all).
I don't think "scourge" occurs on one-shots, but if it does then please re-test that particular attack until it doesn't.
All of this will give you/me a nice baseline.
PM this info to me and I will do all of the math for you and will post the Mako numbers here, and post your primary numbers here (Power Data Standardization [data]).

For everyone...this effort will greatly help the community at-large and it really only takes 10-15 minutes to get to Mercy, test and record the numbers.
Note: For Brutes wishing to participate, ensure that fury is ZERO when you test each attack.
Folks are doing this because the Brawl Index as it exists on paper and in the hero/villain planners 1) doesn't differentiate between melee and ranged attacks, 2) nor does it account for the same power across different ATs.

Sounds good, but in exploring GV yesterday I saw Crey Tanks, more Commandos, CoT and there will be LBs in missions, I assume. That's a lot of Energy, Negative Energy and Fire.
Point being, I think either Energy or Fire should be included.
I don't know of many cold damaging baddies, although I assume that when the underwater zone comes online, there will be.
Nevertheless, the first wave of 40s running up to 50, probably won't be able to fully leverage 32% cold RES, assuming most will hit 50 before I8 hits the production servers. -

No you'll probably just see the Mako logo (the one on his statue) glowing on your chest or something. At least that's what it looked like in the I7 preview with a supposed Black Scorpion shield (the hourglass looking thing.)
Anyway, does anyone know if Captain Mako's first mission impacts your "path" in any way if you fail it or pass it? or does he give you the same set of missions regaurdless?

Well, if you complete the first timed mission, he won't "use" you for the other half of the arc you would have gotten. At least, according to IBM you won't, cause he didn't.
Assuming he's right, we'll get the same missions until after we fight McKnight and get the Bloodletter accolade. After that, we differ in paths. You would be told to come back at lvl 45, and I will be told to do some other stuff for him, and later to find out that he's only using me, in the end, kicking his asss for it, and thentelling me to come back at lvl 45.
