To some degree, yes. I used my own fillers (3boxed) on Test and experienced a drop rate far below any expected variance.
  2. Just one gal's POV for about 15 minutes while in AP (waiting for my awesome coalitionmates to log on) at about 6:00pm eastern on go-live day...

One AE team announcement (could have been a joke) and several "sewer team lfm" announcements.
  3. 3boxed the Demon map.
Ran through 14 spawns and got 2 recipe drops across all 3 toons.
That was all I needed to see (or not see, I guess) so I stopped there.
  4. We definitely need the "extra zero" badge.

Certainly, I can share, but the toons in the spreadsheet will be my own 30 some-odd combos (with their respective build tweaks)...not all combos in the game.

But where your stable and mine (WS, Son/EM blaster, Fire/Kin, Widow, SS/WP, etc.) intersect, there would certainly be value.

Oroing on level 50 story arcs set to -1 level, spawns set for 6-8 players, and no bosses will be exactly what you want to farm. You'll get salvage drops (uncommons will be plentiful and the prices on those will tank especially in the tier 3 range), chances for purples, and merits at the end to buy/roll pool Cs, plus mission complete bonuses and chances at Pool B recipes that can be greatly increased by day jobs. The Oro arcs you want to farm will now be the ones that are multiple defeat alls, and the merits awarded at the end are just a bonus paid to you for farming that Oro arc. Not only that but there's no DR on Oro merits for repeating Oros and you can hold lots more random rolls worth of merits than you can random rolls worth of tickets.
Yep...started thinking about this when they adjusted the Merit formula on Test.
I'm looking forward to running in Ouroland again with my toons...and not just the 50s. Making a spreadsheet now that will tell me which toons (for efficiency sake) across which levels, should run which arcs (for max merits/hour).

    i16 and you

Back when I was tracking purples, the BP portal map was the most "valuable" map that I had blue side.

And just to repeat [someone up thread] this map was one of the maps (I think the BS arc map in Mercy was another] that was used to identify the RNG bug a few issues ago.

It was generally accepted that this map was "special" because of the "set pattern" of spawns under certain conditions.

I still have it on my Fire/Kin and will run it a couple of times here soon.

I didn't think to track enhancements.
During my Excel sorts, I don't recall seeing that many at all.
Hopefully, I didn't delete those rows from my data sheets and I can add them on my next data post.

Add to that the fact that I got lousy drop rates at +1/1 and I think the difficulty slider is at best only part of the equation.
    I agree.

    Expected salvage: 75.29

I'll add another 800-900 defeats when I can.
C&P'd the above from my previous post (analysts: it's NOT new data).
Just wanted to put my inputs together for comparison.

EDIT 2: Bah! Looking at both sets, my expected salvage math looks wrong. I'll double-check tonight.
Recipe math looks consistent. I'll post the detail of both tonight as well.

    Set at 0x6
3 toons on map (3-boxed, so all drops verified firsthand)

    890 defeats

    611 minions
    190 LTs
    10 bosses

    Actual Recipes:17 (1 rare / 2 uncommon / 14 common)
    Expected recipes: 27.18

    Salvage: 69 (1 rare / 11 uncommon / 57 common)
    Expected salvage: 71.61

EDIT 3: Weeee! Happy Monday! Ok...it's a small sample set right now, but there appears to be a consistent and significant variance with recipes drops in the case of a.) 1 actual toon in a mish set for 6, and b.) 3 actual toons in a mish set for 6.

    Tonight I'll try 0x3 while 3boxed.
If I see the same significant variance for recipes then I'll post the results and will end testing.
If not then I'll do 3-4 runs of 0x2 while 2boxed for additional data.
  14. I'm gonna 3box a few runs soon.
Should help with the uncertainty around virtual teammates vs. actual.

I encourage folks to run a few missions and track the data per mission.
    # of Minions defeated
    # of LTs defeated
    # recipes dropped
    # salvage dropped

Those in closed beta found a significant disparity between recipe drop rates (i16b vs. i15) and don't know if it's WAI. Salvage appears to be within specs, but more data may be needed.
  18. On Sunday, I mistakenly posted a stack of Impervious Armor (End/Rech) to sell for 35,000,000 each.

Didn't realize it until Tuesday, but I can't believe that no one took the bait

What does 8 billion inf get you?

Softcapped Def for AoE, Melee and Ranged
    TRUE perma Hasten
3.05 End recovery (you will need it)
    Decent Resists
107.5% global recharge (177.5% with Hasten)

Greater Fire Sword with a 3 second CD, Fire Sword Circle with a 5 second CD and Shield Charge every 24 seconds.

All you need is lots of set bonuses, 5 purple SETS and 5 Lotgs. Easy. Amazingly not a single set bonus wasted due to 'rule of 5'.

Would be very few people who could afford to make a build like this.

I approve of this build and will soon have one for 2-3 billion.

Then with their huge loads of money they buy the few purples that enter the market at high prices, which causes the prices to constantly go higher.
With respect to current market prices, there are a few more dynamics at play. So this statement is about 25-33% correct.
