Edit - Joking aside I'd think a brute with overload would do well in this Strike Force. I can "tank" +3 Av's and not get hit, especially if theres a -acc corrup. With a frostworks etc could proberbly stand toe to toe with a couple of them.

From the last time I'd do this I'd say your best to hope for 3 well organised teams...

We had 3 rads and the AV's fell quickly, as long as everyone targeted the right one.

However I've also now got Hasten, but having seen Grandville there's no way I'm getting SS

When it comes down to it - was it the best way? I think so.

Did I ask on here for other suggestions a couple of days before the raid? Yes.

Did anyone have a better idea? No.

During the raid did people follow instructions? Mainly Yes.

Did somepeople just run off doing what they thought would be better? Yes.

Did it [censored] the "good" people over! Hell Yes.

You may be right, you may be wrong. But don't try and do you're own thing on a raid. It's not like Hami when if you [censored] it up, you [censored] it up for everyone yourself included. It's worse. While the "good" people took down GW, the "bad" people ran off and took down Scirocco. Except they didn't really kill him he regen'd to fast. All they did was at a load of damage to their teams "count" meaning that when everyone else did it "properly" a few "good" teams missed the badge, while the "bad" teams got it.

I don't care how brilliant your method/order was. It wasn't what the raid was doing, and people were hard done by as you tried to do it anyway. THAT is the problem, not the fact you had a different idea.

(Edit - Not to put down Xanthus when I say Hami's "not as bad when people don't listen". It's just there they hurt everyone, in RV they hurt only the "good" people. Which IMO is worse._

Yeah. With a recharged reduciton or hasten etc it possible to autofire and keep the enemy down.

A En/En Brute will outdamage most things out there (I mean single target).

DEF is still a gamble, you can have a run of bad luck, but it's no where near as bad as it was post i7.

Overload - AMAZING. Boosts you HP and DEF to insane levels. I can happily tank AVs/GMs with it. I took Hasten and I can just about make a 50:50 time ratio in Overload.

Energy Drain is another great plus, once you get it you'll become able to fight endlessly excpet for HP.

En/En's main failing is no self heal, so take Aid Self (problem fixed!).

An En/En brute definatly blooms at higher levels, and can be chore pre SO's.

It's a melee attack, so you need to be in range for it fire, but it's not interuptable so you can "jump" past and hit them with it.

AFAIK it's got middling damage...similar to energy punch i *think*.

It's amazing. Once you hit something with it (No matter what level/con) it gets -fly and falls directly to the ground. It works on GMs (Caleb is where it's really needed) and AVs with one hit. Put an ACC SO in and you're laughing.

By my count that's 30 Confirmed Peeps/Toons, with 7 "others"

We'll meet FOR 7.30pm BST tommorrow under Atlas in Atlas. Everyone should bring any insps etc they'll need there.

We'll be attempting to form teams here. At the moment we'll assume we'll have 5 teams. No team should have more than 1 tank or more than 1 controller on them. Only 1 team should have 2 defenders everyone else should have 1. Scraps/Blastes/PB can fill in as needed). To start with when making a team try and limit it to 7 peoples and we'll see how it goes from there.

Once in RV we'll begin clearing he first 4 pillboxes. PLEASE DON'T TAKE A HEAVY. We really wont need the firepower and it would just be my luck for one team to end up with 3 unbalance the damage dealt so a team doesn't get badge. If we have less numbers and end up with one significantly weaker team they can take heavies.

When the first 4 pillboxes are taken AV's should spawn. I havent been able to find methods to make sure who/how many will spawn.

At this point I'm making it as we i go along so if you've a different idea suggestion please post and i'll try and refine it tomorrow.

I'll decide on the spot who to attack and in what order. Basically;

GW>Recluse>Everyone else.

While everyone else attacks/debuffs the primary targets I'd like the 4 tanks to try and lure the other AV away. This means if you have a buff GIVE it to the tank. While in Atlas will everybody who can buff please "friend" the tanks so they can quickly and easily buff the tanks as needed.

Hopefully 25+ damaging heroes should be able to smash one AV pretty quickly and we can move onto the other one.

After that we'll move onto a 5th pillbox, spawn the remaining AV's, repeat the process and then be home in time for tea and cake.

(Note - 30 people, 4 pillboxes. Not gonna work for everyone's badge hunting needs. Be nice and let me have them all. Ha!)

Edit 2 - People unconfirmed or undecided about which toon to bring. We seem to have a fair balance so bring whoever you want, we don't need anything more. (Unless everyone hates my plan and we rejig it). Just think what role you'd fill best.
