Quote:The TV Core geometry has been ***** for as long as I can remember. Many a run has had troubles due to the bad guys falling under there and getting stuck.Someone managed to fall "into" the reactor core in the Terra Volta respec 2 times.
(Note the red bubble beneath the floor) Maybe, the dev should take a look at the geometry of the reactor core room.

The good news is he left by his own choice (unlike Brawler). After 6 years of the same thing every day, he could tell he was headed down the Burned Out path, so he got out before he turned into another Jack Emmert.

Is there maybe a /windowhide command for it, that will remove it for really?

Quote:So, then, the Update Now button on the About window is for manual updating of your character info?Program updates can't be fetched from the server the same way data updates can, unless some special "updater" program is made like what the game uses. When the software itself changes, you'll need to download the new version.
*confused* -
Take care, Morrie. We'll see ya when ya get back.

Nice!
Sentinel has never updated from within for me. I had to download the latest version and install it.
Mids' is looking good, and I can now use the 4 Columns layout just fine. YAY!
Thanks! -
My condolences on your loss, Lady_Cyrsei. I just lost my mother last month, so I know it makes the holidays extra sucky.

Quote:It seems you're lucky, Mandu, because you're the only person I've seen, in-game or on the forums, say that once they set that option, it sticks.Just so you know this isn't a universal problem. In fact this is the first thread I've seen about it. There may have been others that I missed but I wasn't aware of the problem. And I've never had to click those changes more than once per character myself. I know this for certain because I've got characters that I do build IOs for and others that I just automatically toss all salvage and recipes on the market. And those settings never change.
I wonder if this particular setting is stored on server or on disk. -
Note that the game won't always show the current bind for a key in keybinds.txt. That file only updates when you use the /bindsave command.
The best way to see what's bound to a key is to use the new /showbind <KEY> command. It's always been accurate when I've used it.
It's also how I found out that manually editing a bind file, and replacing a bind with "" will NOT delete whatever you last had bound. For example, if you had U set up as this:
U "targetcustomnext Bacon"
Then edited the bind file to this:
U ""
And then reload the bind file, U will still be bound to "targetcustomnext Bacon". That caused me all kinds of frustration until I figured out I'd have to either /unbind <KEY> or change it to "nop". Bleh. -
At great personal risk to myself from the guardian Tiny Pepsimen, I managed to take a pic of Pepsiman's Christmas decorations:

Since Castle is leaving us
, I thought we could make him some Goodbye Art.
I never got a chance to do an HBAS for him, so that's what I did.
Click the thumbnail for the full image.
Thanks for everything, Castle, and good luck! -
Damnit, not ANOTHER good one!
*sigh*
While this sucks on a level that words can not describe, I have to say, thank you for everything you've done for this game. While I never got to meet you in person, I did enjoy the few times I got to hang out with you in various Closed Beta Tests over the last year-ish.
Of course, the memory that will stick out is during the I18/GR Closed Beta, shortly after Nova Praetoria was opened for testing. We found you there, and instead of testing, we gathered around you and pestered you. And you showed off some cool models, including Hequat, and, best of all, that boxy guy one.
Take care, and once again, thank you. -
Unfortunatly, I can't make it. 10:00 PM is The Child™'s bedtime during Winter Break, and I read to her.
