I'm thinking of going Fire/Dark. I made one on Test, because I like to check it out and make sure I'm happy with the choices before I commit to it on Live. So far, not too bad. One thing I noticed, however, is that the powers are kind of slow. I guess that's to offset the damage/debuff they do. -

I* have a Western Digital MyBook 500 GB External HDD. It's pretty nice. Really simple plug & play. Works fine.
IIRC, NewEgg is where it came from. They usually have some awesome deals. Of course, with is being Fall and the end of the year, the closer we get to the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas, the more deals you can find. You can find some really awesome deals on just about anything over at GottaDeal.
* - By "I", I mean "The Wife". She got it for me for Christmas a few years back, and is now using it to store all her photos on. She's an amature photographer, so she has lots.

Hmmmm, I was not aware of that. So vet badges are only for how long someone pays not play.
However, I could make a new account, buy 1 year of time, and then never ever use it for 12 months, then, when my time is up, add another 3 months, make my very first character on the account, and have 12 months of Vet Badges.
Personally, I don't know anyone who would buy time for a game, then not play it for the entire time, barring any outstanding circumstances.
Can Vet Badges help you determine how long an account has been around? Yes. Can they tell you if they person at the keyboard is a competant player? Never. The ONLY way to know for certain is to team with them. -

The only fix I've seen for that has been Server Maintenence.

I like the new addition to the event. I especially like the fact that you don't have to be on a team to get the Badges for defeating the Banners, you only have to participate. Having lots of people, and teams, will greatly help, but teaming isn't mandatory, and I like that. -

Vet Badges don't really mean much. My main account just hit 42 months Wednesday. What if I start a brand new account today? I'll have 0 Vet Badges. But if I use my 42 months of knowledge, I can easily get a 50, without running any TFs, before I've hit 3 months.
