Normally, I am not really into the all one thing teams. But, I did an all scrapper ITF recently. That was pretty fun. An all rad team can pretty much do anything. I am not sure I would take an all tanker team works for anything that has to many high regen/healing AVs, but for one of the normal TF's, that would work. All corruptor teams or all Dom teams are very strong. You could also run a "Brute Squad" through most SFs. Not sure if I would try an all MM team. I wouldn't want to be responsible for melting everyone's computers.

To be honest, I suppose it depends on my mood. I try to always treat well, but, I admit that sometimes I am not in the mood to put up with bad play. However, I spend most of my time teamed with people I know so it isn't generally a problem.
In my experience, someone who gets introduced or comes on board with a friendly and open, "I am new, feel free to give advice", attitude tends to get treated very well by most everyone that I have seen. I would certainly rather know that then agonize over whether I should say something.
