I think BA has a 10ft range, as Chilling Embrace, 15 ft is the range of Combustion and Footstomp and I don't think it's _that_ large.

I take you never tried Chilling Embrace..
That's the best taunt aura you can hope for, the foes are aggroed for an astounding amount of time, it's by far the best taunt aura you can hope to have. If you add to that that in the set there's _another_ taunt aura(Icicles) you'll see that at aggro grabbing there' nothing like Ice Armour. -
The first SF is 15-20 and will likely spawn lvl 20s if it's something like CoH's SF.

But while an invuln without Tough and Weave can still tank and hold his own, if said invuln picks tough and weave aswell he can out-tank you big times , a fire tank without them it's more squishy than a DA scrapper..

Stone Melee is more end heavy than SS tho and with Invuln having some end issues already I think it can lead to some problems end-wise, especially fi you want to go for the Fighting pool for Tough and Weave(both worth it on an invuln).

It would be perfectly doable on your own if not for the mish where you'll need 4 people to click a glowie at the same time.
The TF starts with a bunch of 'Kill X in place Y' and goes on with 'Defeat all' and 'Defeat Boss', no AVs, no timed, etc. Just slaughter a bunch of Creys, Rularuu and nemmies.
The only problem to solo it are the mish where you have to click the glowies together. -

Well, I loved it because it looks damn cool in the first place(KO Blow and Footstomp are the most cool moves in the game IMO), has excellent single target damage(KO Blow and Haymaker), great AoE damage(Only at 38 with Footstomp but still, it's the second best tanker AoE, damage-wise), lots of soft control tool(knockbacks, knockdowns, stuns, an hold and the amazing knockup from Footstomp)and as icing on the cake, Rage.
Rage goes extremely well along with Invuln because Invuln's taunt aura never 'turns off' due to the Rage crash while the other primaries' taunt aura are all ineffective in the 10 seconds of the crash, due to them affecting the enemy.
So you can keep tanking using your aura and keeping the aggro, while dishing out good damage thx to Rage and not being a danger for the team because of his crash.
Other secondaries are more specialized in the various areas tho, with Fire being the AoE king but zero control, Energy the single target monster post 39, Ice king of control.
Stone and SS are a bit of everything -

Well, being the best phaseshift you can hope to find in the game, it has his drawbacks..
You can instantly activating it, skipping the rooting(and often killer)animation of Phaseshift and Nebulous Form..
If things get hairy or you run in a Quant or Void without noticing him and are left with a little bit of life: *PUFF* Phased and flying -
Fire/Ice can still be viable imo, because you can compensate the lack of survivability of fire with the Ice Patch and make some use(the ONLY use possible, as of now)of Burn.
But you will need a buttloads of pool powers to properly call yourself a 'Tanker': Acrobatics (=CJ, SJ and Acrobatics)and at least Tough(boxing and Tough) maybe Weave aswell, due to the protection from immobs, wich lacks in the primary.
Otherwise you could go for Invuln, wich is a good mix of DEF and RES, has good mobility and a nice lvl 32 power(compared to a self rez and to a phaseshift, at least).
For secondary I'm liking nrg melee, but I'm craving lvl 35 to get a powerful attackand I loved Super Strength!Stone melee I never tried, but looks good fun and a good support for tanking.

Let's start from the beginning..
Battle Drones: I would 6 slot this with 3 acc and 3 damage, due to him being lower than me, and if I'll fight higher cons, he'll be A LOT lower than them, hence the 3 acc. Is it worth it or shall I stick with only 2 acc?
More of a defender's question but let's hear more opinions: Slotting for Twilight Grasp: I was thinkin 2 acc, 3 heal, 1 rec redux. Is 2/2/2 better? Any better slotting suggested?
Tar Patch, other than 3 slots for rec redux, any other slotttin adised? Slows? End redux?
Only other question, Assault Bot: worth more than 4 slots(1acc, 3 dmg)?
I will be running Tactics with 3 slotted tohit buff and I think I'll hardly have any end issue as things are goin -

The prblem with previous, failed raids has always been the fact that tankers and scrappers weren't comin cos they felt useless and lots of those with a 50 weren't comin even if they had atroller or blaster because of the long time it took to gain a single enhance.
If this plan will work as I hope, it won't take as long to take Hami down(the whole Mito phase is a good 2 hours of work)and more people will be tryin a raid because it won't waste a long time, but maybe only an hour or two. -

No, you need a team full of people with PvP SKILL. There is a difference between PvE skill and PvP skill. Builds have practically nothing to do with it.

So you mean i can come up with a Claw/SR scrapper with Flutty, Jump Kick, 2 attacks from the primary and 3 powers from the secondary, filled with pool powers and have a chance against Chives and Seiche?

if u had PvP skill u wudnt pick those powers....he clearly meant primary/secondary powers, if u picked sensible powers there is no reason, behind a good player, why claws/sr couldnt do well, especially as claws is getting better soon

If the skill really was _more_ important than the build, then I could pick _any_ build and slot my powers any way I want and be as effective as anyone else.
It was like that in the old Ultima Online, before Age of Shadows ruined it all: you could've picked any skills you wanted, but with the _skill_ you could've kept up with anyone else.
These days every MMOG is goin towards a play style where you have to pick the right toon or the right class, or the right powersets to be able to keep up in pvp, skill is far less important than the build..
Skill in chosing the build? Then it's _indeed_ about the build, the PvP skill is not seen in chosing powersets, but in how you play them and if they were really balanced even a Claw/SR could keep up with some other uber build like BS/Regen.. -

There's more tankers in there, but I had to choose since we'll need only 1 team that taunts and it is VERY important that no one else but them taunts Hami.
Atm we're lacking on kinetics, but if we manage to get at least 8 of em we'll be good to go and attempt this, things are lookin a bit better tho, @Shades said he/she will bring his/her Kin defender, X3 and probably his mate will be there, so we already have probably 7, anyway the more the merrier!
Point any troller you know to this raid, since we'll need like 25+ to hold him, even with the epic holders.
