    Kin/Fire help

FA is all about the recharge - you will want Tough of course though. Get those Healing Flames up as fast as possible - that is how you survive - tons of damage and recharge.
  2. Geez that is delicious. That is just from procs in quills and death shroud? What Interface do you use?

See, that's where debate can pop up - on tankers, I think one should sacrifice for survivability, and I totally agree with you. Others might say they give up too much to get to mag 12 kb prot, since 8 pts is worthless.
  4. Take taunt. Just do it. I have played Tankers for years, and it is just too useful to skip. Contrary to the conversation, taunt takes zero endurance.

EDIT: oh I see what you guys are saying - yes the problem is that the values are set - I misunderstood what you were talking about.

    Awesome, it worked.
  7. It's supposed to only proc once every ten seconds. It makes sense for those types of powers, however, I completely disagree it should affect damage auras that way.
  8. I dunno, I think recharge is your best bet when it comes to Fiery Aura - getting that Healing Flames up as fast as possible and Burn as fast as possible adds a ton to survivability - I forget which thread I was in but there were a few of us that chimed in and agreed on that. Tough is a requirement of course, but then I chased after recharge and regen.
  9. Yeah number 4 is definitely wrong.

I probably spent more time in beta messing with the new interfaces than anyone, and the rest of your observations seems right.
  10. Getting a weird problem - I manually downloaded and installed it, but now that you have the update feature working, it notices a new version and asks if I want to update every single time. I've said yes and downloaded it, and reinstalled it, but it goes right back to saying there is a new version every time.

Ah... yeah I wouldn't be surprised. Don't get me wrong, AMD makes some good stuff, but for the last several machines I've stuck to Intel/Nvidia.
  12. Agreed. Most skip it because Melt Armor is terrible for us - it's decent in archetypes that can use Thermal.
  13. Yeah I am a little stuck on which Alpha - Agility, Cardiac, or Spiritual.

This is what I am using live right now until I make some more money using this toon, as I don't want to steal from my other characters right now:

  14. Ah cool, you found something I have never seen on any computer that uses Windows 7 then. Every update turns auto arrange on eh? That's hilarious.

...matter of fact I just glanced for about half a minute using a Google search and I haven't found anyone else that has it always turn Auto Arrange back on so far every time there is an update.

You might be the only human that has that issue.
  15. Well, if you are going that route, I would suggest taking Preemptive Radial Interface to add to your endurance sapping/recovery stopping - the DoT does the same damage as Reactive does anyway.
  16. Windows 7's 'rearrange desktop' feature isn't enabled by default last time I checked, and certainly isn't unique - I am positive that XP and Vista did this if people wanted it to. Just disable that feature - I don't know anyone who uses it anyway.

Just right click your desktop, go to View, and make sure Auto Arrange Icons is not checked. That's it. I use Align to Grid though.

Which is great when it comes to resources required - I've heard it is less hungry than even Windows 7.

Yes, this is also what I remember, which is actually default difficulty anyway.

Oh we can't wait - particularly for Titan Weapons. I appreciate all the hard work you do!

...and yeah, I went and updated the Paragon Wiki for the newly buffed Interfaces - my first Paragon Wiki edits ever.

    Heh, clever.

Yeah Time has lots of powers that I find unskippable and they are very slot hungry for a good reason - the set is a real gem. I've got a time/fire parked at 43 currently but every time I play him it is a blast.

My ONE COMPLAINT about Time is that I wish there was some kind of sb clone. Chrono Shift has a very pathetic end mod and recovery component that isn't really noticeable even when fully slotted. It is entirely possible to see teammates run low on endurance because you are buffing their recharge so much.
  21. To be honest, I've heard nothing but great things regarding the Windows Phone and newest Xbox 360 User Interfaces, which are all like Windows 8's.

With little or no endurance reduction in your toggles, and several Oblit sets, I'd expect endurance problems, so I say go Cardiac. Also, if you can free one slot somewhere to put another defense enhancement in Deflection, you could trade the Touch of Death for a Mako's Bite and cap your ranged defense as well.
Oh, that explains it - yeah I agree, but maybe Vigor would work too, since Vigor has the same end costs as Cardiac Radial but also boosts healing and acc.
