Oh, I thought you didn't deny similar extensions exist and that you can get them now, only that there are posted articles on security holes. I didn't know the links denied the existence of them.
-
Thank you mods for moving this - I should have put it here to begin with.

You can also get Super Packs using the Paragon Rewards system, if you are high enough.

Quote:...so they can get it now.Chrome has a couple of things called ScriptNo and NotScripts. Both of them have gaping security wholes that NoScript does not. See the following links:

Quote:Amazing how people are trying to relate it to this game instead of the one we are discussing or their own experience, which is vastly different than the juggernaut that is on topic.Yeahno.
Pretty much for all the reasons Nalrok outlined.
My company (and several we contract out to) no longer use these. Quite simply, they were too much of a hassle to keep properly synced.
This is a *game*, not sensitive corporate info. I don't care to be locked out of my account for an indefinite period simply because a stupid fob malfunctions. That kinda thing can get me parking a Rikti mothership out in Paragon's parking lot (RWZ style). -
Since most of us aren't developers, I stand by my statement. We invest differently, so this is worth every penny. As you probably guessed, this has nothing to do with Paragon or NCSoft (so far.)

Authenticators are hella cheap and worth every penny.

Added an annotation regarding my pronunciation fail.

Your shield guide link seems to be dead.
It's best to play with your in-game settings and testing it yourself. We don't know what your performance is like. We don't know what software you are always running in the background, how much ram you have, what speed your processor is, or what resolution you run the game in... instead we know how much space your hard drive has prior to formatting and that you run either a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7.
I generally keep FSAA settings to in-game when it comes to the Nvidia Control Panel, and the same with Vsync. I usually keep triple buffering on, and switch to single performance mode, but leave everything else the same as default. I crank up my Digital Vibrance a little too.
After that, just test what settings keep an acceptable frame rate for the eye candy you want in the game. I always have Vsync turned on in the game, and have a mix of settings for Ultra graphics. I tend to keep shadows simple but turn on reflections, etc. -
Quote:Pretty sure Chrome can get it now.You use what I use. I also use Firefox-- whatever Chrome's advantages are, it will never have NoScript.
I switched to MSE and have had it before it was MSE - it was called OneCare before that. I used to use AVG also.
Other than the article listed, I too have heard Norton got good again for awhile. -
No, I meant to grant recovery to those around it.

Quote:I wanted to make sure to explain why someone should even care, and what the badge is even for. I probably could have cut it to around 3 minutes. I have done edits for many of my videos but nearly always record voiceover live and give my opinions as they come.Seems like a fairly long video for what it's showing, IMHO. Cut out some of the running around, the ITF explanation, etc. You could probably cut it to 1/3 the length, and just do the voiceover later. (Of course, the ease of doing this will depend on the tools you use, I suppose.)
I do appreciate the feedback! -

MANY people already know about this, but I just figured I would toss up a video just in case someone wants to see it done or want to send it to a newer player.
This grants access to a zone called Cimerora and the popular Imperious Task Force (ITF) without having to run a story arc on every single character:
Easy Midnighter Badge
Please go easy on me as I am still learning how to make videos and put them on Youtube. I seem to get the most positive feedback from tutorial and information videos more than anything else, so here is another one. -
Dood, if you are wanting a change to Traps, let's look at Time Bomb instead of this silliness.

Thinking that Lifegiving Spores might be similar enough to what I want out of Recovery Orb, only that it grants only recovery and considerably more of it than Lifegiving grants. I realize this is +end and not +recovery. I guess I am curious if you would like it to be a toggle or not?

It's a good set. It doesn't get as much love perhaps due to two things:
1. -defense isn't helpful in the late game
2. Electron Haze is reaaally slow and has knockback on top of it -

Quote:Thankfully, I never stated or hinted that Avatar was anime. Regarding the rest, people were complaining that there weren't animation options that summoned water blasts in the stomach area due solely to that show.Avatar isn't anime, it was produced in the US. Personally, I don't see any significant differences between an anime enthusiast and a comic book fan. Heck, they're basically the exact same stereotype from two different cultures.
I haven't seen Avatar either, but I am aware that the protagonist can command wind powers. However, I don't see why a new power set should be avoided just because there is a popular fictional work that includes a character that uses similar powers. I mean, isn't the entire point of the game to try playing with special powers you've seen in movies, comics, or cartoons? In any case, there is nothing stopping an Avatar fan from making a similar character out of Storm Summoning, as it is. You can't hamstring your creativity just because of the chance that some uncreative person will possibly create a copyright-infringement character. -
Quote:Um, I think comparisons are just looking at soloing as the only way to play the game. Bring that defender with you when you play your blaster, and you will both have the exact same tohit ability.I'd rather see the dependency on a to-hit bonus be more evenly balanced so it doesn't unfairly favor some powersets and ATs while leaving other combinations up the creek or dependent on Aim/BU.
I will always be in favor of anything in this game making defenders and corruptors wanted on teams. The fairly steady 'power creep' references on the forum makes me worried about the desirability of defenders in particular. -
Is the OP talking about copying that set from CO? The one where it hurts enemies and heals players?
Also, let's not bend (ahem) to the fans of Avatar over everything. I wouldn't be against a wind set but come on, can you imagine the copyright infringements popping up everywhere? It happens enough as it is, but this would be begging for it.
...I've never seen a single episode simply because the fan behavior irks me, much like most anime due to otakus. -
Slow continuous dots make enemies flee - why should acid mortar be any different?
...now, having said that, if that behavior vanished from acid mortar, I would cry foul, because I would want to have that happen to Scrapper Burn too. I have motive and I admit it.
