Well, I got new internet service today. I'm still unable to connect to the launcher/download the game. I went into the new router config page, which looks like this:

I cannot find how to add an exception to the firewall list, any suggestions? Also, what else should I be looking at with this menu? I don't know if there's anything I can use to clear the way for the launcher.

Well, I've been gone a few months, about to re-up my sub ( god do i miss this game) and I'll be doing so in about 2 weeks when I get new internet service. Nothing has worked for me sofar, I've tried everything with the exception of getting a new provider.

On a positive note, after buying a new router, I no longer get the int32 error, but i still get the "can't connect" or can't download mesages. I'm wondering if a system wipe before the new internet gets installed would be a good idea, or should I wait and see if that clears it up.

The new company said i'll be getting a new modem/router in one device, if that could make a difference.

Well, I'm sitting in a starbucks with the inlaws' lappy. Competely uninstalled everything before I got here. DL'd the launcher from the link provided by Tex. Installed fine, but says it cannot update, retrying gets the same result. I attempt to install CoH through the launcher, and get "The install information could not be downloaded. Please try again in a few minutes."

Been like that for an hour now. the ISP provider here is AT&T, different from mine.

Well, reconnected directly to the modem, ran the ipconfig/flushdns command. Still getting the int32 error.

I can set up and start the launcher, but once i click play, i get this:

Devs, I understand the desire by NCsoft to use thier new fangled Launcher, and I have nothing against using it. Except I CAN'T use it.

For unknown reasons, it will not work on my computer, I've worked with Alpha Wolf, Avatea, and numerous forum members, nothing helps.

All I'm asking is that if there is a way to keep the old launcher working alongside the new one, please make it so. I'm a day-one vet with two accounts. I've pruchased every booster and expansion TWICE, and would certainly be doing the same with all the new stuff in COH Freedom. but if my accounts are no longer playable on August 4th, then I guess I'm done.

I don't know if anyone else is having the same issues as I, ( I know linux users can't use the launcher, but I'm on Windows XP) but seriously, I feel kind of hosed right about now, and I'm sure anyone else having the same issues feels the same way. If I had the cash, I'd buy a new computer or OS in the hopes it worked.

COH is the only game I play, I love this game, this community and the devs. Please help me and anyone else in my position out. I feel like I'm being evicted.
