Considering what was being added/changed for i15, it makes sense. -
While that was going on, went through my toons accounts and realized I am a poor person on this server, so although I can't help you with this instance the information we have garnerned from the exchange will help others make the decision if they can help you.
I swear, sometimes my positive spin on the negative gene just goes overload -
Just to clarify:
Which direction is the influence going? -
You do that on purpose just to throw the page count off, don't you.

Hope you guys are enjoying the costume change emotes that are part of the Magic booster pack. There have been questions here on the forums about using these outside of the costume selection screen, and the answer is "Yes. There is a console command for activating these."
The command is /cc_e or /cc_emote ('costume change emote')
The full syntax is:
/cc_e [costumeSlotSlot#] [emoteName]
There are a couple of important notes. One, the costume slot numbers start with 0. So your first costume slot is 0, your 2nd is 1, 3rd is 2, etc. Two, you need to use the actual emote name, not the display name that you see in the costume select screen's rollout. For the magic pack, these are:
* CCPrestoChango - Presto Chango
* CCLightning - Lightning
* CCSpin - Spin
* CCCast - Cast
Example:
/cc_e 1 cclightning
Will switch you to your 2nd costume slot, using the "Lightning" costume change emote.
As part of a macro or bind:
/local ABRACADABRA!$$cc_e 1 ccPrestoChango
Other than that, the normal rules for costume changes apply. You can only switch costumes once every 30 seconds. If you try to use a costume change emote sooner or try to switch to the costume slot you're already in, it won't work. You'll look foolish, and everyone will laugh at you.
Cheers!

I used to have a server auto-reboot on a specific pattern, and once it fell on an American holiday. When it did not come back and was not noticed by me until I came in two days later, I received a directive that it should not do that anymore. Even tho we are not a 24/7 company.
As to doing it on an American Holiday, not everyone in game is in America.
As they did when they brought i14 live, they did not want to open the servers until world-wide they were ready (one server had an issue and it delayed the release about 3 hours IIRC).
Just an opnion. -

Am I only the only person in game that does not care what my arc receives as a star rating?
Constructive criticism is nice, and some of the suggestions have been well thought out. Not going to do them, but they were well thought out.
I'm more concerned when they just comment: "suk no frm".
Which I then petition as harassment.
Besides, since they are removing 90% of the badges come I15, it will give me more time to actually coalesce my story ideas into a mission set I'll publish. -
An arc that I ran on a character on Monday is not available on Wednesday.
A couple arcs I wanted to try, did not actually give me a mission.
The devs are really hammering the system and limiting those arcs that are "farms".
There are a couple things everyone should understand about Protector and MA:
1. Do not do arcs in MA from Atlas.
2. Turn off broadcast/request in your tabs while in Atlas.
3. MA is not the way to learn how to play your character.
and finally:
If Badge asks you to "try and help him" the arc he is running will cause debt and you best enjoy getting debt.
That is all. -

I can't get this game to work anymore. Heck, I can't even get it to load. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, uninstalling, reinstalling via steam. Nothing works. I just want to play and I can't!
Ok meltdown is over, I'll get back to trying to fix the problem, whatever it may be.

just be cautious, not everyone has a supergroup to be named.
[/ QUOTE ]
In which case, it should either respond with and extra space or a null.
So, the wording that is tied to it will be the key.
Having something like $name of $supergroup, with $supergroup returning a null or space makes it look like "Janlee of ".
So, writing skills become very important.
Of which I have none. -
I'll tweak and test a mission several times, just to see if it flies as what I am doing.
I did publish one mission, with the specific idea of getting ideas from the community as to it's play, their responses, etc. I then edited the published mission and re-published.
But it is going to end up being one mission in an arc.
Does this mean I am going to be adding missions to this and going through all that re-publishing? Not really. I use a text editor on a different file that is not in my CoH directory.
And I am trying out Leandro's off-line editor.
But putting out an un-tested mission?
Nope, not me.
