It would appear i had the problem Carni reported with the forum, the other day, >Here<. I didn't notice the date on the previous post, and apologise for bringing it up - i assumed it was a recent thread.

I guess the 'old threads' appearing at random in amongst new threads is a bug, as I've not changed my options within the forum set up either.

I can guarantee i dont have old cookies as i use ATF cleaner, clear private data in my firefox and manually check at the end of each evening before i go to bed that i've not got anything, so i have a fresh start the next day (yes, im surprisingly careful)

I'd like to know who you think you are, to 'demand' answers.

Sorry, but that really, really got me angry, to the point i was ready to put expletives in my post, but didn't for the sake of not getting a ban or suspension from the forums for what i could've written.

In ALL the topics in all the areas on this forum, never have i read that someone was being so harsh, strong and downright rude.

I'm running SLI with 2 512mb 8800 GT cards, with no problems, although as the game isn't SLI compatible, i dont expect support to be able to assist if it goes wrong

I got 12 random cossies and about 20 random Halloween salvage drops (the ones that add the additional slots)

But then again, i hardly played it this year.. first time in ages i haven't been around for an event.

I just don't understand why people who see others at a door can't move on to the next door, without clicking.

If all they are doing is opening doors, to get a reward, why can't the labelled griefers avoid those who specifically want to fight mobs at the door they are currently stood at.

No consolation but if it had happened to me, i'd have moved location, petitioned AND moaned on here probably...

Maybe we should look at it like driving a car.. They always seems to say on the police programs 'It's not you, it's someone else (that could put you in jeopardy)'.

The fact we shouldn't have to move location just to accommodate others selfishness in the first place annoys me the most i think.

I like GG's idea.. if you get killed by a ToT mob, you automatically receive no debt and it gets given to the person who opened the door. coupled with auto rez after 10 seconds and at 7 seconds the mobs automatically de-spawn. Perfect!

(oh and if it's you the opened the door, everything as normal.)

The Way Dark Age of Camelot Deals with a server merge is they include in brackets the original server name you came from by your name, for example:

** server would change depending on where your toon was from originally and thus avoid name problems.

If the servers were to merge - you could still pick the option of defiant or union on the main login screen, but that would also signify the <**> under your name, so if you primarily a defiant toon but created an alt - it'd still say Defiant there. likewise with Union.

I stumbled across this thread and said to myself 'What's Marge Simpson got to do with it?'. Then i had a wash, got dressed and properly woke up and realised it said 'Merge Servers'.

I recently purchased the Logitech Z-5500's and can say they aren't bad for the price. They replaced my 3 yr old Creative 7.1 setup, as the main bass / power supply was faulty and Creative couldn't help.

I will say, if you're used to creative 7.1 sound and go to logitech 5.1 5500's - it's a big downgrade, and i was a little disappointed, but now im getting used to them, it's not so bad and the 5500's seems the best for the price range.

I also run with the X-Fi Fatality Pro card and personally i think it rocks.. However, if you're not going to be doing any midi work (case addon with the Pro card) then consider the on board as said above, or get the slightly cheaper X-fi fatality card.

Same as Shadowe, when i played my rad/rad defender. Solo was great, i'd anchor and have a whale of a time, but in groups, most times, there's no need for an anchor as most things are killed too quickly.

im not sure if this helps, but im using a 32" widescreen LCD tv for my monitor, i had to change my tv settings to a 1360x768 resolution then i did coh for the same everything works fine now, before the whole screen was out of sync, does your monitor have a screen resolution function? done through the actual monitor not the pc

reading you say about 32" LCD TV for your monitor.. I've tried COH on our 42" plasma... My god, that's something special, however going back to a 21" afterwards, made everything seem so small

I've only had to contact a GM twice. Once where level 41 mobs were inside a level 15 mission (before the ability to 'cancel th emission and auto complete it' and once in the ITF - as only 1 less boss spawned from what was needed to defeat to continue.

Both times, i was contacted by e-mail in game, then PM'ed straight after.
