Generally it's down to either lag, or a program hogging processor resources. Sounds like your spyware protector was nicking the processor

What your describing is 'rubber-banding' - and it's generally apparent when data gets slowed down from the server to the client and vice versa.

I had a thought - could this be related to the fact on this particular character, even tho i am able to get the midnighter club arc, i haven't completed the 'Admissions Officer Lenk' 'invention' missions. Therefore, technically i don't have the knowledge to craft, even tho i can still craft recipes i have in my inventory... I woder if that's how the game thinks.. 'No you can't have the salvage, as you can't craft anything yet, technically speaking..'

I used both /petition and /bug - i understand it's a known issue now, but /bugging it, i would have thought just shows an extra person is getting the problem.

With /petition, hopefully someone will see it in the next 24 hours and ill be able to log in , in that time and be able to continue that arc

I've just advanced through the midnighter arc SK'ed to a level 42, in his missions with mine mirroring his and me saying 'yes' to complete MY missions when his are finished and completed each time.

However, i didn't get ANY of the lost cure items except the cure receipe (right at the beginning)

Is this WAI, or do i need to /bug it?

I had a vilains mission once where i went in at level 11, and the mobs were 41. GM logged in and completed the mission for me.. This was before you could complete a mission every 3 days, or whatever it is

I would say my 50 spends most of his or her time assisting others in random zones, but most solo time in the AH / uni in steel because it's the closest place the two are together. (until i get the field crafter badge)

I did have another thought - normal sprint DOES give off a slight 'dusty' appearance. Judging by your last post above, it sounds like those drivers were probably exaggerating that, perhaps?

Could also be one of the vet reward sprint powers...

I just used Alt-PrtScn, rather than a bind, as i wasn't aware of the bind... then pasted it into mspaint and cropped it to just show the message.

I can't remember exactly and sadly i didn't take a note of the exact details of the mission as i felt it didn't really bother me at the time... but it was on one of the first few clockwork missions with 'Fireblades', my Dual Blades / Fire Technology Scrapper and the server was Union.

The initial screenshot was in a warehouse with a lot of clocks - filename: screenshot_2008-06-26-21-53-18 if that helps - not sure what info you can get from that as i can't tell you the mission name.. If you want me to bug it, i can also do that, but i haven't yet ?

I do that too - using a 1680x1050 resolution, i don't worry about resizing any windows, i use inverted mouse, and have a few macros.

When i was using my G15 gaming keyboard i used to have the memory keys set up for top left set of keys would be power bar 1, next set of keys down, power bar 2, third set down, power bar 3.

But the G15 drivers kept crashing, so i bought a £12 microsoft natural keyboard and haven't looked back. Just had to get used to the idea of pressing keys or cliking the mouse again.

You might be able to do the effect if you you tights smooth as the chest and then the tanker pattern. Though this would make the sleeves go all the way to the elbow.
