Please note that the arrows are on the wrong side of the bow pretty often in the game as well, so he could just be going for accuracy.
    see?

    Well, there ya go.

Is it wrong that I've made a couple alts that match up with your alts?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not at all. What did you make?

I have over forty characters in the CO beta. I think I'm allowed to say that, since you see many of them on their site.

I do not suffer altoholism. I enjoy it very much.

I've seen those. I think I currently have 3 versions of Ironik over there, as well as 2 of Photon X. Needless to say, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

    [/ QUOTE ]

How do you get to make them??

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure I understand the question. We're in beta, so....
  4. The Sureshot-X one looks really cool, but... the arrows are on the wrong side of the bow.

I would like to think I am competitive but ... eventhough I create quite a few ... they don't all make it to my website ... and even then ... I have a feeling I am still far behind.

    [/ QUOTE ]

There's no wagering because this is not a competition. I'm winning, though.

    [ QUOTE ]
but the MA is a great way to appease the Althoholic though ... you can create full groups with concepts and all and they don't take up slots .... (saving costumes helps too .. hehe)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Oh so true. If you want to see more of my creations, many of which are alternate-world versions of our Earth's toys, pop into the AE building and check out arc 132772, "The Toy Box." Bigger groups spawn more unique bosses, too.

I like the "some of my characters" in the lower right ... nice layout Ironik.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks. I know it's a little sad that compilation only represents a sub-section of the characters I've made over the years. I'm an altoholic, and I suffer gladly.

I concur! That's a phenomenal character concept and design that you created Ironik!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks, Manoa and Fox, that's really nice to hear. When I bought the cyborg pack I thought the faceplate looked like a cat. After that it was just finding the right slightly-punny name to use.
  9. Wait... you actually work at it? I thought you just pushed the "Make Cool Art" button on your computer.

So much for me ever doing that.

I didn't even think about the costume ripping dilemma. How's this? She has a residual self image that causes her to react in such a way that she unconsciously simulates the rips.

  11. I designed one with lowbies in mind, so it uses 1 small and 2 medium maps, and all the enemies are set to Standard. I also tried to give a slight spin to a cliched mission type ("Runaway toys!").

    The Toy Box by @Ironik.

    Arc ID: 132772
    Length: Long (3 missions)
    Enemy Groups: Custom Group
    Morality: Heroic
    Levels: 1-54 (intended for 1-25)

Weaponized toys are terrorizing citizens. Solve the mystery and save the civilians!

Ahem... blazing boneshot... BLAZING, I think I can handle a little fire ((PS dev magic says res is capped at 90%, so not quite immune ))

A blazing boneshot sounds like the most painful thing to happen ever.

  15. I think it looks fine. It may not be as dynamic as you'd like, but nonetheless it's good practice. I'd say call it done, then look at it again in couple weeks to see what ideas pop into your head.
  16. There are some scenic shots in the Terrific Screenshots of Cool thread, I believe.
  17. Here's a challenging one for you: Monster Child. He's two, two, two critters in one! With a drop of retsin.

Hmm looks good. But did you make said image from scratch?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Define 'from scratch'? I didn't create the model of the girl, but I posed her, rendered her, and photoshopped the piece for weeks. I created the texture on outfit from scratch, and digitally painted the vine and her hair. I modelled the leaves in MAYA, the wall in Vue Infinite, and photoshopped the Arkham letter in there.

I'm planning to put a tutorial on my site that'll show all the steps.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Pfft, you're only hardcore if you coded the programs yourself....

    [/ QUOTE ]

...and built the computer it was rendered on.

Now get out there and turn sand into silicon!
