Nice artwork, chief!
Looks like we cornered the ol' Brit hero market, eh? LOL
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, it was nice with this and the others I've had done just fleshing out the details to get it to look right, the helmet in particular. As good as the costume creator is in CoX there's always stuff it can't do, yet. -

Ok so i don't even know where to begin to catch up and i need to update just about everything. These were a few of the pieces that just suprised the hell out of me and are gifts to me while i have been away!
How's the artz goin guys?
*waves*

Let me guess, a large pile of art fell on you and you've only just managed to dig your way out -

It wins a lot of contests. I think it's the chest detail that nobody uses.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've used that chest detail. -

he can hold his sword in his teeth and I wont say anything !

That settles it, pirate look for his third costume -
-
Thanks, now I've just got to settle on his counterparts look.

There is only one other thing that could have made this year even more triumphant for me concerning CoX and I don't think it'll be added anytime soon
-
Does this mean that the weapon sets names themselves will be changed to reflect their new multifaceted nature?
-
It would be cool if Lord Recluse was looking for the mythical city of Pax, the city was settled by people who had once lived a violent life who killed, maimed and destroyed but eventually became sickened by their own actions."
There was a heroine called the Herald whose parents were killed by the 5th Column while searching for the hidden city. -

I don't think the first Paragon Times Article and this one inhabit the same timeline. Wasn't Recluse still in charge of the Rogue Isles in the first one? I think we're dealing with two seperate (maybe two of many?) time lines here.
[/ QUOTE ]
Correct. The last article stated "Recluse of the Rogue Isles" while this one take him completely out of the Rogue Isles and into South America. But both mention the Outbreak Plague being out of hand.
Hmm....
Cyclone Jack

Then whoever is messing with the timeline is still doing it, they haven't found what they're looking for yet I'd imagine. -
I'd say Scrapper, "Avenger" sounds like a Scrapper name.

I bet that guy's a villain character
[/ QUOTE ]
Funny you should say that..... -
You can always have your original idea as his second costume
saying that I think both are pretty awesome.
-
Same here, it also does this when I try to edit old stuff as well.

I belive the outbreak virus is actually a rikti mutagen, so you still need the rikti.
[/ QUOTE ]
Except even if we don't have a war with them Portal Corp and Nemesis still have access to their homeworld which means that any old super villain can get there and back. -
[ QUOTE ]
I mean the Fifth have been trying to alter history for longer than anyone else.
Meaningless. The 5th per se never tried to alter history; that was the Nazis themselves, in Germany. And they only tried it once.
The most likely suspect is indeed Nemesis, which is boring and trite at this point. An issue named "Oroborus" should have involved the freaking Circle as the star.
[/ QUOTE ]
And the Banished Pantheon once again get no love
Here's another thought, if it is indeed Nemesis changing history to create this new reality has the First Rikti War taken place? -

Celtic Bolt, Killer Whale, Hour Woman, and Planet Girl. I commissioned Mr. Layton to draw a cover for a short story I'm having illustrated.

That looks pretty awesome. -

Yeah the more I think about it.....
Isolation zones in Steel Skyway and all of Talos? Huh?
Thats not right.
Well we know Recluse has dabbled in time travel and the "resets" on the anchors in RV.... what if someone tweeks the resets a little too far backwards....
Anyone remember the Story arc with the time traveler from the 5th Column circa 1940. Of cource it still leaves the question of Nemesis involvement as well... this scenario seems to remove him from the game.
They've been talking about a shake up, but this would be mind blowing.
One more thing... 4 years? Correct me if Im wrong, but wasn't 4 years ago the beginning of the CoH testing (Alpha or closed Beta)? I dont think open/public Beta testing started until Feb, but 4 years is an important clue.... (And arent all the fallen contacts that were introduced after the initial rollout)
[/ QUOTE ]
Hey if they're re-writing the CoX universe history then maybe they can add in the Incarnate Epic AT
I can dream can't I? -
[ QUOTE ]
And are there Killer Whale and Lady Liberty with them too ?

Hour Woman is the one flying, don't know the other one. -

What's PAX? I might be there if I knew...

Penny Arcade Expo. It really shows how much that comic has grown.
[/ QUOTE ]
Here I thought we were going to finally see "The hidden city of Pax" in City of Heroes, ah well. -

I can't seem to find any pics of the Vanguard armor though.

What's with the runes on the guantlet? They mean anything special? Or just random decoration?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup, they mean someting - but don't ask me, I have no idea. The creator of the character would know better.
[/ QUOTE ]
Left arm gauntlet would be if I remember correctly "the North", I'm not that good with old English runic symbols but it was the best I could come up with, still I'll blame the Duergar if there are any mistakes
