Your base inspired me, for sure! I'm working on a Ninja themed fortress as well. Your use of the accent lamps really is what did it. Of course on my end... I /am/ actually rotating each lamp, instead of just building it on a 45 degree angle.
Here's a quick shot of my work in progress. Was in a rush and forgot how to minimize the UI, but you get the idea. Used coffee tables to make a raised floor as I plan to have an outdoor area leading off a veranda. The shot is from one hallway, looking down into my dojo, where I also attempted to make decorative sword stands.
Also, what did you use to make the roof of your fortress? I've been pulling my hair out finding something that would do the trick nicely. -
Clown Mastermind:
You summon a variety of Clowns with special abilities, such as balloon animals, seltzer bottles and wacky, giant foam hammers that squeak when hitting someone.
Bonus Travel Powers: Tiny Bicycle and Unicycle. -
Though not specifically Steampunk, my main villain as of now is certainly of victorian inspiration. If it's Red-Side RP, I'd surely be interested in seeing what could develop.
Of course if you are Blue-Side, then this post is rather pointless. You can email me at @Intrinsic1 -
Well if you ever hit Red-Side, I have a character who would love to interact with you. Well two, as a matter of fact. Both are magically inclined and could be involved with voluntary demon summoning, or involuntary respectively.

Anyone take part in Red Side RP outside of the Pocket? I know Grandville may be better, but are there any specific spots that RP seems to be attracted to?
I have a villain right now who, though magically inclined; would like a chance a to RP with characters in the Isles. He is not a god, son of, etc... He is not intent on being the great ruler of the world - just power hungry for arcane knowledge.
I'm growing very disenchanted with the state of RP right now and would love even to find a RPVG eventually. There's only so much "D" one person can stand; with all the Succubi and More Eeeeevil than Evil characters, intermixed with the "I'm so Good, I crap sparkles" kind of characters - and all hanging out peacefully in a nightclub.
Suddenly I think of DC comics and a cold chill runs up my spine. Imagine: Lex Luther, Brainiac, The Joker, Superman and Batman are all hanging out a nightclub; knocking back drinks while Robin is off cruising the OTHER underaged patrons, flirting with the angst-ridden cat-boy that was beaten by his abusive father until running away to join the Legion of Doom.
If you find this normal, please walk away.
If this properly encapsulates your own fear and disdain, then please: contact me or post a reply.

My only real rule is not to use misspellings of character names in game. I'd even use the spelling of a number if I warrant the use of a number eg: Link Six - explained in a bio that they are the sixth in a line.
Ok so I have another - I have to write a bio for a character even if I don't rp with them and if I can't by level 20 they get deleted before I bother with extra costumes or capes. -
Quote:And this was EVERY MISSION.Ah, memories. Ok, here's a blast from the past: say you were Illusion/Radiation back at the beginning of time. Three different mechanical changes (toggle ranges, aggro limits, fear mechanics) made this combo slightly different than it is now. This could only have happened to you back then:
1. Lock a rad toggle onto a target in a large spawn.
2. While fighting, deploy Spectral Terror.
3. Watch the ST's fear blast cause a bunch of targets to flee for their lives in all directions.
4. Fail to notice one of them was a toggle anchor.
5. Notice about sixty seconds later when that runner comes back with half the map trailing behind him to on stomp you.
And there was no Arena.
And if you wanted to be a villain, you made a dark looking costume and wrote up a bio and RP'd it ONLY.
And ED was the name of a horse.
And everyone did the tutorial because it was the fastest way to level 2.
And we memorized the route from the Hospital to the mission for EVERY mission through practical experience.
And we loved it. -
It's also pretty obvious that he likes BOTH characters. GL was even written FOR him to be Hal Jordan. Though RR is keeping the writers at Fox in line by keeping to the spirit of Deadpool, it does not mean the same thing to an actor. He already has the credit of being able to say "I helped make that happen" to Deadpool if they release it without him and stick to what he told them. But GL, it's his role. He is part of both and he only needs to be in one. Creatively that's amazing.
It's been stated before on the career aspect regarding GL and it's true. GL stands to be to RR that Superman was to Christopher Reeves, or Batman was to Michael Keaton. Two good movies at least - and doing something that he enjoys while getting paid for it.
Fox will make Deadpool regardless and I think the only thing that's truly important to RR about it; is not being in the role, but just making sure Fox doesn't screw it up again and instead remains true to the character. He'd be proud if they just take his advice and run with it.
That and GL means that RR gets to be the icon for countless children as a well known superhero. He gets to be the association of live action to comic book for their parents. Deadpool is wacky and strange and offbeat. It appeals to a pretty specific demographic, but Green Lantern could go much farther. The character has deeper roots going back decades, deals with noble themes and will be much more accessible to a wider audience.
Don't get me wrong, I like 'em both - but if faced with the choice, I'd choose to be the true superhero, than a violent, masked merc with a name that guarantees that most parents won't take their kids to see.
But hey, that's just the grown up in me. -
Overheard this after I rolled a new char and logged into AP.
Quote:NPC_Mortificator: Just when we get back from the hosp, an ambush hits us.
NPC_MireEidolon: lol yeah. Got team wiped like 5 times in a row.
NPC_Damned: lol. what level?
NPC_Mortificator: Always like lvl 1-5. The sewers are too hard.
