    Definitely isn't an issue of having the correct files. I have CoV (retail) installed from a friends disc but no code to play on. And it won't let me in the base. Could have sworn that at some point it said I would be able to enter the base but not expand it or something with no CoV code, but oh well. Have ordered CoV.

    "Certainly - take a look at my powers and tell me which one I should use on you to achieve that effect" (Kinetics can't)

    Pay attention to your secondaries as well - but if you're going to spend all your time blasting, go and roll a blaster to be better at it.

    Those in the know have always treated us like gods. Those who knew me at low levels sacrificed many blue shiny things in my name.

    Except for the few who try and arrest me for dealing speed. For some reason they feel that there is something wrong about using addictive powers on scrappers.
  5. I have some insight (I have a level 13 Ill/Kin and a lv 30 Kin/En defender)... so my higher level comments come from the defender side.
    A. Accuracy. Based on my defender running Tactics with 3 accuracy SOs (so 95% as good as old style) and an endurance reduction I very rarely miss unless I have had my toggles knocked off (got up to level 30). Unless I am targetting +2 bosses or more, I seem to only miss at the 5% minimum miss rate. Relative base accuracy of illusory wounds and flash vs energy blasts I feel illusions are the same or more accurate (gut feeling, don't have numbers).

    B. Damage. Can't really help here - I have never tended to run more than 3 damage enhances in any build anyway. Phantom army cannot benefit from buffs, only slots though (as I understand it), phantasm gets benefits from both.

    C. Recharge Rate. Never used Hasten -i have an allergy to stuff that people tell me is 'essential' when it isn't (and red pompoms just aren't me, darling!). I have always used a combination of recharge enhancements and (mostly) siphon speed. The boost from siphon speed is noticeable, especially with slow charging powers (transferrence), and I can confirm it remains useful well past the teens (not least because it can take the edge off hold resistant bosses etc very nicely.

    Endurance: with defender I run 2 leadership toggles and stealth and only stop firing powers while I wait (briefly) for them to recharge (this mainly happens when I solo because I only have 3 blasts) Endurance has not proved a problem since I got transferrence - I broke my blue pills dependency!
