I like the fact the crab pack stays. I just wish we could use the VEAT costume on more than the first slot. I don't like using a secondary costume. I'd rather just keep his spider costume and change up the colors or size.

Well the title maybe misleading but the true point of this thread would be the things you do like bout i16 (From what we know as of now) and the things your not so crazy about. I'm so looking forward to making a Demonology/Radiation Mastermind.
Also, changing my current masterminds forcefields to his costume color scheme is going to be awesome. I think friendly buffs will be his gold color and enemy holds and knockbacks will be the dark red color. -
You'd think it would be as simple as adding a hidden speed debuff to the current animation that ignores all the current buffs you have applied. That wouldn't require any animation changes really just a movement reduction that can't be nullified until you hit the run button.
But then again, you'd still appear in the run stance so that my not be ideal either. -
After logging in today, the Vanguard Sigil CCE isn't firing off properly at all. It seems the Costume Change is interrupting the animation too early.

It seems to be working part of the time, it plays the whole animation intermittently. -

eh even before the AE and the XP curve fix, my fire/em blaster took 150 hours to get to 50 with zero pl'ing until level 46 (then i mentored for a few sg friends).
my first 50, a fire/sonic controller took 310 hours.
the fact that it took you 400-600 hours to get your first 50 does not speak well of you. -

So far the winner was the tank that demanded my REGEN SCRAPPER stop fighting and spend all my time healing him. He said I was being selfish with my heals. I told him he obviously knew nothing about regen. He told me I was a healer and I wasn't healing, and kicked me from the team. I had a good laugh about that one.

Its the same in every MMO though. There are things some people like and there are things some people hate. Regardless of what the Devs do, you're going to get people on one side of the fence while some are on the other.

Not really forever, theres always the option of purchasing a rename token.

That would require a huge ravamp of the current account system, and database coding to manage the nomenclature. Then you'd have to recode the game client chat system to affect the changes.
Its not something easily done and could cause a lot more chat problems than we currently have. -

Don't do that. It makes it really hard to type your name out.
Punctuation is sorta cheesy, but can be understandable. I'd try to avoid even doing that though. -
Just a question; why do you find it a hassle to get a higher level villain? I didn't find it difficult at all and I absolutely love all the content in this game.
I find it refreshing that no two characters ever have to follow the same path with all the variety of contact unlocks and zones. -
Thats a common practice in lots of mmos though. Its common for people to abbreviate their names with a Guild Tag.

Well, it is what it is. If you add something to the end of the name in general people know thats the reason why.
If you abbreviate something or hyphenate a name as part of the name, then its a different story.
You could easily do something like Super.Man, or Super-Man or be even more inventive Subparman

I've never pld in any game, I enjoy game content and I enjoy feeling like I work at it. Anyone who uses AE and tries to tell someone they suck for not using it, or being around before it even existed sorely needs an education. -

As was pointed out to me in another thread, this has been one of the few double xp weekends not also associated with a reactivation weekend. As such, you don't have all those people returning to the game for a day or two.
There was also an Aion beta event during the weekend, and I'm sure some folks were taking part in that.
I did enter it for a few mins, however, I wasn't that impressed with the graphics. The scenery looked like a painted backdrop rather than an interactive world. Plus I'm not a PVP fan, I had my fill of it in WoW a long time ago . Even when it goes live I am debating whether I'll spend any significant time on it or not.
What does have me excited is the unannounced project NCs other studio is working on. I can't wait to see what it is they are cooking up. -
I've only been playing this toon a week and I hit 30 last night. I rather enjoyed having a boost of xp this weekend.

.PNG transparency is browser specific. Some browsers, ie 7 and up support it, I'm not sure if firefox and chrome do or not.

Other than editing a shortcut with that page as your clicky or bookmark, or setting a default tab to open with the browser, those are the only ways I know of currently.

In those config options there is the ability to set a max size, so hopefully they implemented that.
