Chapter 1: "A Past Memory"

This story begins with a memory, or rather a flashback that returns a young man to the days of his youth when bravery and chivalry coursed unbridled through his veins and the spirit of his ancestors raged in the boundless depths of his yearning heart.
Sitting quietly in the warm glow of a snap-crackling fire, he listens to the distant cry of wolves as he harks back to a time he never in his wildest dreams would have believed existed if he had not seen it with his own eyes, if he had not tasted its bitter sting.

The young man’s name is Zane Moonscar, and this is his story.

Zane is a young boy about the age of 14 with glistening brown eyes and hair. He is about 5' 5'' tall has a not unlike athtelite's body.
His friend Sykle, a very knowledgeable boy with the skills of budding Martial Artiest and the calm demeanor of a master archer, in contrast,has big smokey black eyes and a shine in his hair that resembled that of new oil.
Leonof, with his sky-blue eyes and hair the color of winter wheat, was the handsomest of the lot, and though often dismissed as a pretty boy nobody,his skills in the hushed arts of wizardry and magic was unmatched for one so young.


Its a bright and warm morn in the village of Cavalina.
Zane along with his childhood friends Sykle and leonof adventure outword to the grassy fields just
outside of Cavalina.
So the can train themselves in the art of combat.
Little to what they know is the far off distance just miles away from Cavalina.
Lord Deraj's demon follower where sent down to destroy the once peaceful town of Cavalina.

As the morn becomes about mid day. In the mites of training, their arise as high into the sky a black tower of smoke.
Zane looks at it with great concern. Then Sykle says "Isn't that in the direction of Cavalina?"
It all went dead silent. Then the three of them run off into the distance.

~Present time~

Being shacked constantly. "Zane! Zane! wake up!!" said Sykle. Zane awoken and peers over to Leonof. "They are just bout a day behind
us Zane" said Leonof. Sykle looks back at the group as his trusty pal Hawk Ace lands onto his shoulder "What do you have to report Ace?"
Ace squawks. "They are on the move again guys we need to get going quickly" says Sykle. The party moves forward.

~Zane's Memory~

Shouting from the distance "Zane!! Zane!! you Shouldn't be going at this alone!" Shout the guys a distance back.
Zane didn't care he need to get home he need to save his family and his town. They all arrive at the hill.
And the see there little town it gluffed in flames. Not knowing what to do Zane looks to see if there anyone around.
Then the mayor comes up and with a look on his face. "Thank God you boys are OK?!" says the Mayor. Zane looks over
the mayors shoulder and Sykle and Leonof finally caught yup with Zane. "Listen boys the evil demons of Lord Deraj
have came and burned our village to the ground" explaining the mayor. Zane still trying to see if he could see his family his parents and his two younger sisters. "What do you mean they attacked?" says Sykle and Leonof. Zane just get by the mayor and runs down towards the village. Both sykle and leonof see him and they chase and tackle him down
"No, Zane don't do it the village is gone!!" Said the both of them to him.

~Present Time~

The party is running deeply thru the forest doggoning and ducking, weaving and jumping over everything and anything
that is in there path. They look back as the hear the war drums fade in the distance. And then they had time to
catch a breath."Wow that was a very close call everyone" says Sykle to Leonof and Zane."Yeah, I though we where
gonna have to fight that one?" says Leonof. They both look at Zane. Yet Zane is just in his own mind he hasn't really said
much see he had to press forward."Are you ok? Zane?" asked Sykle. "Huh?! oh yeah yeah I'm fine really I am" he says.
"You don't seem it tho?" says Leonof. "Well I'm just thinking bout our village and how it got destroyed over 7 years
ago" he says. As he slowly looks back up in the blankness of the night sky. Sykle and Zane both look at each other
and they where concern on what maybe going on in his head. Then Zane says "Shall we press forward?" The others
nodded and the pressed forward to the next town. And there next adventure.

(Note yes i did post this in the Role playing forums but I like to see my fellow Guardian's what they think of the little short story I'm working on the side. Looking for good feedback and its ok for some negative just not (Examp: It suxs and go kill urself) lol yeah none of that thanks)

well id would like to have a red name comment on this like cant that do it in the up coming issue or something? Aka i17 which would be a great choice to add a bit more bio especially those who want to write a Praetorian bio

Yeah I would really like to see like maybe 2000 increase and what not. So I hope they are gonna increase it Id like to see it.

I would like to post a suggestion/idea for the Devs on this. The one thing i wouldn't mind seeing and any Role players can back me up on this is the re increase of the bios instead of having only 1034 letters aloud that's like maybe 2 and a half paragraphs or so. Maybe if you don't mind for those that are Role Players and those who would like to have a great bio for some of there best toons to increase the bio space to maybe 9999 or maybe infinity cuz every hero also has a bio behind them and im not just saying it for me. I'd would like to see that for all players Pvpers,RPs, and the PvErs as well. So can a dev respond to the this post thank you.

Maybe if you don't mind for those that are Role Players and those who would like to have a great bio for some of there best toons to increase the bio space to maybe 9999 or maybe infinity cuz every hero also has a bio behind them and im not just saying it for me. OK, First off I'd like to say is that on Tuesdays at 9pm est and Saturday @ 12am est the Dream Team Hosts the Rikti Raids.

Second off I strongly inform everyone to have REQUEST channel on so they can see what the Raid leader is saying just Like the HAMIDON raids that get hosted. Same idea.

Thirdly as well If Dream Team members aren't on and isn't hosting the Raid that doesn't mean the Raid isn't going on "WE" have select a few members out of the SG to host it. And we have a list on from top to bottom on who helps Dream Team when no1 is around.

The older brother of Shadow Amber, whom he was separated from during the Rikti Invasion in 2004. His efforts have not gone unnoticed; Embers was eventually offered a lead position of the elusive branch of Dream Team known only as D.T. SWAT, and continues to fight tyranny in the name of all that is good and just.

Is the lovable twin sister of the great and powerful Shadow Embers. In 2004 there family went to war with the other heroes with the Rikti invasion. Among the explosion, they got separated. Among that same confusion she ran into a group of heroes know as "Dream Team." Blade Temptress, Miss Aubie, and DarkBlade Ghost where elite fighters of the Rikti, so Amber decided to join them to stop the Rikti. And once the battle was over, she thought that she lost her older brother Shadow Embers in that War. Weeks later in there was another Invasion done by the Rikti. But this time they are gonna attack there mothership that crashed in the Rikti War Zone. And there among the other heroes, there she saw her older brother Embers. They where reunited by the members of "Dream Team." Now with there brother N sister team combination they will beat the rikti along with "Dream Team." SO LOOK OUT WORLD HERE COMES "DREAM TEAM!"

Shadow Healer, LVL 50 Emp/Dark Defender member of "Dream Team"

As young boy Stephen always looked up to his father as a great parent and a Super Hero, and wished that one day he could become that one great hero in Paragon City just like his father was. Young Shadow Healer, aka Stephen powers inherited the darkness of his father and the healing abilities of from mother. He trained with his father in the Darkness and with his mother to learn the powers of the light so may heal himself and others and his teammates. Then, one faithful day while watching Statesman and his team repel a Rikti assault force that had stormed Atlas Park, he witnessed his fathers s death. Enraged with the Rikti leader for what he had done, he decided to go after him and kill him. His attempt, however, failed miserably. The only reason he was able to get away was because the Rikti leader told him he wasn't strong enough to elicit honor. Young Shadow was ashamed
