  1. Okay, new episode, 7/31.

Looks like their weres are like the WoD weres, in that the condition is genetic, and cannot passed on through bites, etc. Good news for Jason!

I like Jesus' grandpa. He's awesome.

Tommy is still doing stupid stuff and making Sam's life harder. Meh.
  2. Some you may have seen before (mostly the updated outfits), but some of the images in this video are brand new to me!

    Vision!

    Falcon!

    Invisible Woman!

    DR. DOOM!!

    The Guardians of the Galaxy!

    I.E., cannon fodder.
  4. We keep calling this a remake, when it's really more of a sequel.

They're on Third Earth already, with a new "Thundera" built around the old Thundercat base. There's a clearly stated history involving Mumm-Ra. Sure, the names of the main characters are the same, but it's not hard to imagine that the names would become popular to future generations.
  5. Kitty Snarf, good.

    Sexy Cheetarah, excellent.

Where is Panthro!?! Well, I'm assuming they'll find him at some point, out in the wastelands or whatever.

Also guessing Wilykit/kat will stow away on that flying ship in the commercials and that's how they join the crew.

And the first episode of Kira has aired. You can find it on some fansub sites, I'm sure. I just watched it.

Umm.... well, it's a comedy episode. So if you're hoping for classic Higurashi madness and murder, you won't find it here. It's mainly Keiichi have perverted dreams about punishment games for the girls, until it all goes off the rails. Some funny stuff.

The second episode of the OVA won't air till September, and will be about Rika.... as a magical girl? Yeah more comedy.

Ah, well, there we go. Confirmation.

Is it me, or do the daughters look like Mai and Ty Lee?

After some reading, I was a bit wrong. Tenzin is the youngest of Aang and Katara's three children and the only airbender among them. However, Tenzin has three children himself, all airbenders. Two daughters, Jinora and Ikki, and a son, Meelo.

So, the airbenders are making a bit of a comeback.

Water Tribe, silly. It's Water Tribes, Fire Nation, Earth Kingdom, Air Nomads. Korra, specifically, is Southern Water Tribe.

Since Water comes after Air in the cycle it must mean that Aang died some 12-18 years ago. If I remember right they were trying to rush Aang's development which caused him to leave so it may be that Kora is being trained slower. The preview seems to show her water and fire bend.
Yes, Aang would have lived much longer, but his lifespan was shortened because he spent a century in the iceberg in the Avatar State. So he died sooner than he normally would have.

Also it's been shown that Avatar's have long life spans if they aren't cut short. A hundred years may have passed.
70-75 years have passed, according to the creators.

With people like Sokka and The Mechanist who can apply the various bending styles as sources of power for devices, society evolving into a "bendpunk" era in that time frame is very possible.
Yes, there are "steampunk" elements in the design of Republic City, which is where the majority of the new series will take place. It's a metropolis, founded by Aang and Zuko, where benders of all nations live and work together. The city's police are metalbenders, lead by Toph's daughter.

Now the story can be about factions using this new "technology" to cause mayhem and possibly war. After 100 years of peace, people may hesitate to believe this new, not fully trained young Avatar warning much like Harry Potter in OotP.

    Just guessing.
It will be about an "anti-bending movement" called the Equalizers, who use Ty Lee's chi-blocking martial arts, that rises in Republic City, leading to the crisis that Avatar Korra must deal with.
  10. Korra' airbending teacher is Tenzin, who is the son of Aang and Katara, and thus he is the last airbender (at least until Korra learns how).
  11. Samurai Champloo is on Netflix streaming now, as is the third set of FMA Brotherhood.
  12. I have no idea what this thread is about. What is this? Some webcomic?
  13. BWAHAHAHAHA! Generalisimo Lee!

I was talking about the trailer.

  17. *rushes to Netflix streaming to watch the original series... yet again*
  18. Damn you, Hollywood. Now I have to go see this.
  19. Hooray! Felicia, my true love, you return to me!
  20. Saw it today, really enjoyed it. Saw it with my dad, and we both kept snickering every time Red Skull's last name was said... because it's also our last name. ^^

The movie is still being made, and Hulk is basically a CGI creation. They probably haven't finished him yet.
  22. Sweet stuff. The next year is gonna be a hard wait.
  23. We need a release date!

Or at least open beta soon!
  24. Dang, and here I was hoping the title meant that MICHELLE Rodriguez would be appearing in a Heavy Metal movie.

Cuz, you know, that magazine has lots of nudity.
