Quote:Are you sure there's enough... substance... in Bud Light to make beer bread? The best thing to do with warm beer is mix it with 3 cups self-rising flour and a third cup of sugar, then bake at 375 for about 45 minutes.
Mmmmmmm... beer bread...
I prefer San Francisco sourdough. -
As for toggling CJ/SJ with one key, yes, that can be done.
"powexec_name Combat Jumping$$powexec_name Super Jump" -
You might be able to do it with a rotating keybind
I have a rotating keybind set up for my fly/hover/sprint...
Flight1:
numpad0 "powexec_name sprint$$powexec_name hover$$bind_load_file c:\CoH_binds\flight2.txt"
uparrow "+forward$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"
leftarrow "+turnleft"
rightarrow "+turnright"
downarrow "+backward$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"
space "+up"
x "+down"
Flight2
numpad0 "powexec_name sprint$$powexec_name hover$$bind_load_file c:\CoH_binds\flight1.txt"
uparrow "+forward"
leftarrow "+turnleft"
rightarrow "+turnright"
downarrow "+backward"
space "+up"
One press of (numpad0) turns on "fly mode" and turns sprint off.
While in "fly mode" I can toggle between hover/fly depending on my movement
Second press of the key will turn off "fly mode" and turn sprint back on.
Dunno if you could work your combat jumping into something similar -
Some really wonderful stuff here... I almost hesitate to post mine.
It's difficult to get as many nuances as one might like in the limited space we're allowed for our beloved alt's bios.
Bo'Tanika (energy/energy) was one of my firsts...
Onyx Spur (spines/dark) is another one I'm fond of.
I have a few that are comedic tragedy, but the comedic element wouldn't fit the tone set by the OP. -
Quote:All four of ours are toilet trained. No smelly litterbox.Cats are nature's perfect pet. They don't **** all over the place, they do it in a nice little tiny area.
Oh, and since they are on a raw meat diet, they poo once every 2-3 days and it's pretty small.
Now THAT's perfect! -
Quote:I believe I pay a monthly fee to do exactly that.Your client is still talking to the server. If you are in your base then your base is running as an instance, just like most missions, in their server, taking up resources.
There is nothing in the user agreement that says my money only pays for time that I am "actively playing".
Furthermore, I have a hard time believing that the servers are all THAT overloaded, considering how rare it is to see any of them (except Freedom) over one green dot. That argument just doesn't hold water. -

Hmmm... that's disappointing. There are times when I need to pop downstairs for a few minutes (let the dogs out, wash a couple dinner dishes, warm up some pizza, etc.). 10 minutes doesn't always cover it. Logging out for those few minutes is tedious, and I sometimes miss important chat comments, so I will often park in my base (considered a mission) until I come back.
What's the reasoning behind this move? How does my parking in my base (or other mission) affect anyone else's gameplay? -
Maybe you've done this already, but maybe create a "newbie's bloopers" vid. Y'know, stuff we all had to learn the hard way....
-- the "ins" and "outs" of trams... you can't take the tram from the exit side. Also, learning which trams go where (that one actually took me a while).
-- picking your battles... 'cause a level 5 isn't really tough enough yet to take on an orange & 4 yellows. Or, trying a "pull" and ending up with the entire group. Or, while fighting one group, accidentally aggroing a second.
-- becoming street smart... along with avoiding those pesky reds & purples at low levels, how the heck to get over fences and walls.
-- follow the beacon... just because it's suddenly off screen doesn't mean it's stopped existing.
-- the joys of learning how to run when speed boosted... yes, you'll probably feel like the roomba vac at first.
I'm sure you get the idea... it could be fun and informative. -
I tend to use nature photos I've taken while hiking.
My current one was taken at Zion Nat'l Park.
Others I've used are also from Zion and Death Valley. -
The only way I'll drink root beer is if there's a large scoop of ice cream involved.
Otherwise, bleh!
Not a big fan of Dr. Pepper either.
Actually, I'm not much of a soda drinker. But when in the mood, I prefer my sodas on the dry/tart side, like ginger ale, 7-up, Fresca...
As for scotch, though my dad used to drink Crown Royal, I prefer McCallhan 12 or 24 year (didn't care for the 18 for some reason). -

But, you can only benefit from one edition of the same type per account. If you have the GvE Edition applied, attempting to apply another GvE code to your account won't get you anything.
You CAN apply GvE edition, Mac edition, Architect edition, individual booster packs etc., to the same account . Also, each game account is a separate entity under your master account. So you could apply the editions/packs to your various game accounts as desired.
Although, thinking about it, I don't think you can simultaneously apply a booster and an edition that have the same perks (i.e. Mac edition + Valkyrie Booster). Another good reason to go with the edition version over the booster, as usually the edition has more perks than the booster. -

Quote:Regardless of whether it's considered a crime or not;
Pedophilia being an attraction to children, and pedorasty being the molestation of children.
In my mind, one is a sickness, whereas one is a criminal offence. What I'm saying is that people have no right to police people's thoughts and fetishes.
1. This is a teen rated game, and discussions regarding pedophilia are not appropriate for maintaining the game's rating. It is up to the community to reinforce this.
2. It is not generally considered acceptable to discuss one's sexual fantasies and fetishes with complete strangers in a social setting. Some thoughts should simply remain thoughts! Furthermore, it's generally considered incredibly rude and boorish to continue discussing a contentious topic once it has been reasonably objected to.
3. By not encouraging socially acceptable behavior, we enable socially unacceptable behavior. I would not want to consider myself responsible for enabling a pedophile. -
Thanks for bumping.
I was looking for this thread to add to my "subscribed threads", but forgot which forum it was in.
I played the arc. Wasn't as long as I thought, which is a good thing.
Had fun reading the little descriptions.. good lulz
Wyvern de Veridi with Sister Flame -
Yep, imagine how confusing it was for a friend to be talking about her godchildren, and the other person was asking why she was swearing so much!
In another forum, I ran afoul of their filter when I mentioned changing chlorinated pools to saltwater pools. I had to edit by phrase and word to figure out which one was the trigger. Finally to separate salt-water to get it to work right. It annoyed me because "salt water" is an adjective + noun, whereas "saltwater" is an adjective in it's own right.*sigh*

none.
AFIK, all maps are capped at 1500. -
I vaguely remember this being a problem for some folks when i13 went live.
Most folks resolved it through customer service after a couple patches.
One of the things that seemed to trigger the issue was too many items in the base. I believe there is now an item cap of 12,000 items for a base.
I don't know if you can resolve this now that we are well into i15, but it might be worth a try. -
"s" and "c" are in relatively close proximity to each other... maybe it was a typo?

Beers: Bass, Boddington's & Newcastle for my staples... Guinness as an occasional treat when we go somewhere that has it on tap. Not a big fan of any IPA's or Pilsners. For Homegrown US beer, I like Rogue Ales.
As for chocolate, Hershey's is the bottom of the barrel in my book. I like Lindt or even Godiva for a quick fix. Our friends from London sent us some Green & Black's organic chocolate... I tried to make it last as long as possible... *sigh*
What amuses me is what they like to get in return... blueberry Pop Tarts and Cracker Jacks....Cracker Jacks? I keep trying to tell them that Moose Munch kicks Cracker Jacks a**
