As you can see Champion is clearly home of the rude, the drama queens and if you're a nice guy and can't deal with that I recommend another server purely for your own feelings sake. If you have tougher skin and can endure the constant bickering, champion grows on you after while. There are genuinely some good, helpful, polite ppl on this server, you just have to sift through alot of jerks to find them. Good Luck wherever you end up

Steel and I both got it on Thursday, I was going to wait and get the complete collection thingy, but once they said you could upgrade at a later date, it was on! Can't wait to try Demon Summoning next!

Good Luck, I hope it's a success. Don't know if I can make it during the week that late, since I got a gang of kids to get in bed and am usually pretty wore out by the time they are. But it sounds like fun (even if I'd be face down the whole time lol) and I'll try to pop in one night this week. I don't have much experiance with PVP, it's never really been a part of the game I was interested in, but have done a couple events hosted by DarkGuard a while back and dispite my number of deaths it was way fun.

I am not sure, but the only thing I can think of that would cause you personally to put me on ignore was an incident that happened during a Hami raid. I had done it many times with my blaster and controllers but brought my new lvl 50 tank this particular time and had never done it with a tank. Since I was unsure of what my role was supposed to be. I did what the team leader told me to do.

My team leader told me all tanks on hami, which was wrong I am told, you and several others sent me tells and "yelled or called me out" in broadcast, that i was doing it all wrong and was f'n up the raid. When ppl started bringing up in broadcast what my team was doing wrong the team leader quit team and logged after a big LMAO GOTCHA! in chat, leaving me and the rest of the team like WTH do we do now? And most of them quit and left zone or like me just stayed back and waited for it to finish since it was almost over with (last wave).

You were on Joel's Emp or something like that I think and your tell was like the last one i got, frustrated and ticked that i was given wrong information and ppl were now pissed at me over it, i replied in anger to the tells "kiss my *** i was only doing what i was told." I talked to AngieB and Amy after the raid and apparently the team leader i had was hidden and was trying to "grief" the raid. I didn't know and so i and my other team members got caught int he middle of that.

I was on Ima Tank, I was really pissed and frustrated and at the time did not even know why so many ppl were yelling at me. So I did let my anger get the best of me that day and told several ppl where to put their angry tells and "noob" comments. If you took it personally, I appologize. On a side note, I have not had the balls to take my tank back into Eden since, even though she held up pretty well lol. I was humiliated having made such a big mess of my attempt to help.

Thanks for the info Silas, I gave them the names of Cobalt and Miz, could not remember all the other names at the time. Also I knew they could send offline message to ask for invite but did not know the operators invites could be sent while the requester was offline.

Well having been a member of BMT Red for some time now. I'll simply say this, I do see more traffic for the villains over there than what comes across on BMT. I see SF's formed and ppl getting answers to their questions, it is helpful, and there is a lot less drama on that channel lately. As for BMT, is serves both sides but has a more hero focus, I don't see alot of villain activity on there.

Rules are enforced and rules in most cases are a good thing, however they can be taken too far when they are dependant upon an OP's particular mood that day. Not speaking of any one OP in particular, but some days things are ok to say and do and then another day you will get silenced for it. PPL walk on egg shells when some OP's are on and then it's all out chaos with others. I have nothing against rules, but be consistant with them.

As far as all the ppl that posted here with ASSumptions and so on, well that just goes to show that ASSuming makes an *** outta you. Just because someone is trying to help another persons channel get off the ground, trying to draw attention to something that could potentially help champions villain side be more efficient, doesn't mean they were in any way snubbing the pre existing channels. One thing had nothing to do with the other, I know because we were members of BMT red long before any disagreement in the other channel.

I am a member of many channels and in my opinion each serves a purpose and I look at it like each channel is another opportunity or avenue to accomplish something. The more you have, the more likely you are to get the job done. Each has a different member list and you open yourself up to more ppl and potentially more friends and great teams in the end.

OK, my husband would never call himself a RL hero, so I would like to add him to this thread.

The Global is SteelDominator, he is currently serving in a combat zone overseas and has been serving his country for 15 years now. We expect him back home sometime around the begining of June. We being me and the 4 kids that miss him very much!

He has more toons and alts than I can list here. He has just about one of everything. He loves to run task forces, but since he has been gone he stopped joining them because he dc's about every 10 minutes. His friends knowing where he is make allowances for it and tell him it's not a problem, but he won't join anymore cause he feels like he's wasting a spot

Sometimes the connection is better than others, but it seems to be based alot on team size and maps for some reason. He is able to run regular mishes with a 4 man team usually without any problem, add more than 4 and it just goes down hill from there lol.

I am still in game, runnin solo mostly, sometimes joining or forming a team, runnin AE, doing maintance, we occasionally get to run together, timing is rough since he is 9 hours ahead of my time zone. Honestly it's just not as much fun runnin without him, he was the whole reason I got into CoX. (I think he only got me into CoX, so I would quit griping at him to get off the computer and do something, it worked now I spend almost as much time in game as he does lol, remember that fellas with wife/GF aggro lol.)

Many of my other friends have left the game in the last year so I just miss runnin with him and having a blast on TF's over the weekends. But I no, WE have gotten great support and well wishes from so many great ppl on the Champion Server it's been really touching how much ppl care and how often ppl ask about him. Thank You all for that!

LOL I cant believe you told them I cheated lol. My kids love that story cause they get to go "ha ha mom was failing algebra" lol. It was the only subjest i had any trouble with, straight A's other than that lol just never got how you mix letters and numbers and the letter is always changing.

There was alot more to the story but I'd say Steel got the "short version" right lol. We starting talking because he caught me cheating off his paper lol. That was in tenth grade, we became best friends fast and even dated other ppl.

About a year later it just kinda happened. Out of no where we went from complaining about our current relationships to the next thing we knew we were making out. Was so weird and we didnt talk for a few days after. We finally talked and realized everything we were looking for in someone else was right there in front of us the whole time.

15 years, 4 kids, 2 minivans and a multitude of pets later, he is still the hottest man on the planet to me and we are truly tag team partners in everythig we do

I am not going to get into a debate or arguement over this Cherry, you obviously feel personally scorned or something to critisize yet again someone else's point of view and their post. My point was, maybe ppl should not be so quick to judge and attack ppl's words on here without knowing where they are coming from and I guess you missed that point. When I said she has earned the right to be a little cocky I am referring to her bragging. She has made great acheivements in this game (as have many others) and when she does they are always called into question, "no screenies, it didnt happen". Her time in game is not an excuse for bad behavior, no one's is. That was not what i was trying to get across. But i have only seen that darker, less desireable side of her come out when she was on the defense.

I did not post in the other thread because by the time i saw it, it had already reached the point that anything said was inflamatory and further posting was simply fueling it.
But I spoke to Felicia for the first time tonight since the AOW event was postponed and told her I was sorry about all the crap she got in the other thread, she mentioned this one and I wanted to show her my support.

I've known Felicia for 2 years now. I met her when I was a total noob and she was helpful even though I was in the most hated SG on the server at the time. She was more helpful than the ppl in the SG that I was in lol. I learned alot from her and can almost always count on her to help with something when needed. Two years in, and I still learn new things in this game all the time.

Felicia and I have not always seen eye to eye on every issue, we have had words in the past about SF and we have had arguements about SG's in my coalition, DarkGuard and about Braije whom I adore. But we say our peace, and move on. We've never held a grudge. I occasionally pick at her with an "AV Killer" comment or poke at her about being the female Stryker, but it's for the most part done in fun. And I hope she knows that. I tend to be a bit of a smart *** and i speak freely, ppl often take what I say the wrong way or i come off as a total ***** if you don't know me (or maybe even if you do lol). I hope Felicia and everyone else I team with knows, that I pick and poke fun at ppl, it's not meant to be hurtful or to start drama.

Felicia has been around a long time and knows more about the game than most ppl I know. She has through her words and gained a reputation as cocky, self rightious, condescending and sometimes downright rude. But she has in my opinion earned the right to be a little cocky and the rest usually only comes out when she is on the defense when she is attacked over something stupid, which tends to happen alot. Like ppl have nothing better to do than over analyze every single word. If you tried to get to know her based purely on her posts, you may think she is a bit of a nut lol.

But the reputation she has gained through her deeds, not her words is how I have gotten to know her. She has run many, many events for the server, she has helped ppl she has never met before, she has dropped what she was doing to help fill task forces when no one else wanted to run it, she is always available to answer questions, she answers the noobs in atlas that no one else will. I have seen her explain enhancements at length to ppl in WW. I have seen her explain the potential of powers and power sets to ppl that had no idea what they were doing. I have seen her join countless teams to help with ppl that were stuck in some mission they could not complete. These are how I judge Felicia. These are the reasons wrether she is ranting in defense (which she should not have to do any damn way) or wrether she is bragging about some new achievement she has my respect and support.

I am glad she got some positive feedback in this thread, I am glad that she feels it had a good outcome, but in my opinion she should not have had to apologize to that degree. A simple "Hey, something came up, sorry i could not make it, will do on this date." should have been good enough. We are all ppl, **** happens, get over it. We all have tempers and if you attack someone, they are going to give it back in full. She should not have to apologize for defending herself. In my opinion there are many ppl in these forums that owe her an apology.
