I would say it is the combination of a high Resistance and the 15% Defense, the debuffs, buffs (Forge) and the straight heals (not a slow +Regen with traps), that helped me to accomplish soloing AV's and Heroes.
I was thinking that with Demons doing a lot of unresisted damage that they may be better suited, but that was before I read about the -Regen from Bots on this thread. Of course I am also reading that it is bugged and is not working. Which means that they would be the same as any other pet that doesn't have -Regen, correct?
Now as I have read, Dark has a better set of debuffs so this might help to kill the AV faster. I will have to see as again my bots/dark is 50 (villain that unlocked my bane).
By the way, you say you can soft-cap the mm, but are you talking about me or the bots? I do not need soft-capping as I am not standing toe to toe with the AV. If you can't soft-cap the bots there is no reason to even talk about it.
Bodyguard Mode and Provoke: Tried it and hated it. Some of the bots would attack, but not always all of them. Sometimes I would see two of them just standing there (like some mm players that think that once they tell the pets to attack, they can just stand there and do nothing -- Automatic AT). I don't use BG Mode even while soloing AV's and I have never died.
My bots are soft capped for everything except psionics. My slow regen healing beacon serves me just fine considering my bots barely get hit. Poisonous Trap, seeker drones and trip mine are awesome.
I have a demon thermal hes only 22 but I can definitely appreciate the nice heal and resist shields. Cant wait to get the new abilities.
I also made a bots storm and just got thunderstorm. All I got to say is pure chaos is fun...solo'ing ofcourse. Groups seem to get pissed at me when I try to have fun with hurricane and tornado.
One thing I wonder....why do people feel they need to talk down on certain secondaries in order to boost the status of the secondary they prefer?
They all seem to do what their supposed to do and shine in areas theyre supposed to.
I wanna know when kinetics is gonna be a secondary...I WANT!! I NEED!! -

My bots love running in melee....arent they supposed to be ranged?
They will literally run up to the mob and then shoot them and get beatdown in seconds if its an orange mob.
This kind of annoying and I was wondering if there was a way to get past this?
I tried looking up macros but all I see are bind guides and it feels like Im trying to read chinese. -

Thanks alot folks. Ive been using temp flying raptor(if I remember the name) for travel that I get from bank missions. The Acid Mortar has been badass.

I thought about not taking a travel power at all and using temps and ninja run. Will play around and see how it goes. Also want to try the tankermind approach. Basically keep bodyguard mode going, using provoke and using my caltrops,and web grenade to keep em mad at me. Throw out my beacon when things look like they may be getting ugly. -
I decided on Bots/Traps.
Two questions.
Would hover be the best travel power?
And is hasten worth grabbing? -
I'd like to get most damage out of them thats possible and I was wondering if thermal was the way to go.
I dont really care if I can solo av's or not. I like to solo sometimes but I find it really fun to be in big groups(provided everyone knows what theyre doing). And I find its easier to get the defeat badges in the big groups.
Plan to mix in Leadership pool for the assault and tactics. Is maneuvers worth it?
I assume slotting 3 damage and 3 acc is best if I want em pumping out the pew pew?

I took omega over frag grenade in the mad recharge, pet build. Lots of fun so far.

Thanks for the advice all. I took the fitness pool and already have stamina lol. Its a learning experience I suppose. Level 21 atm and so far enjoying the toon. 8 man teams are amazing exp.

Anyone know of a good guide I can look at. I looked through the guides sticky and didnt see anything available for this particular setup.
Is there a high end build anyone knows about. Im not worried about cost in the least. I also wanted to get around using my kin abilites instead spending powers on travel. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I just started leveling in the rogue area but I think I already screwed up choices. I have my kin heal and took subdue and psionic lance instead of siphon power or siphon speed.

Over 1500 days offline I kid you not. I came back to the game about a month ago after being gone a very long time. So my ice's build is super old.
Ive been trying to find some ice/ice guides but Ive only found outdated guides. Anyone know of any current guides atleast within 3 issues?

Ive tried to open a few of the builds you posted its not working. Says data may be corrupted and I noticed smiley icons popping up in the info your supposed to copy and past to Mid's.

Im not sure if this is the right forum but I figured it couldnt hurt to ask here.
Right now Im level 11 and so far Ive gotten 13 badges from leveling through AE Story arcs.
Well to be more clear leveled to 7 on sewer team then decided to try the ae story arcs since I read one of the tool tips on the loading screen saying its possible to level through ae to 50.
Would also like to say that there are some amazing story arcs in Developers Choice.
All the players who take the time to make those and all the story arcs are badass. -
Should I slot my toggles with end reduction till I get stamina? Ive left deflection off and used parry as advised. However Ive been using battle agility and have 1 end reduction in it so far. Should I atleast 3 slot it with end reduction till stamina?
Right now only have the base slot in Deflection, true grit, and battle agility.
Have 5 slots in Hack and Slice and base slot in parry.
