At least for the moment it did. I'm gonna start doing these again, as I had stopped to work on the MMOArt contest.

It's my first time really shading (except for with little doodles) with graphite in about 6 years, so it was a little tedious.

Looking at it small now though, I think I might even out the hair a bit on the right side, it looks a bit lopsided. Also, I made a few mistakes when I was inking her right arm, so it's a little off as well.

Whee double post. I feel so naughty...

Anyhoo. I took the rough sketch that I made first, cleaned it up a bit, inked it, shaded it, and attempted to draw a background... I hate perspective.... ugh...

Anyways, suggestions are still welcome, but I'm most likely going to keep the hair where it is :P

Hmm... I still can't figure out what would be the best way to color it. I want to try to go digital, as colored pencil looks too grainy and washed out...

I have a tablet, but I stink at trying to color it... Anyone got any suggestions or whatever? I'll take anything at this point...

I might try shading it though...

I like it a lot better inked too. However, I'm a bit worried about shading it. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to shade with ink, and what I'm supposed to simply use dark colors on to get a comic book like effect. =\

Ink

Changed up the hair. Made a few little adjustments too. All I had was an inkball pen (didn't want to use ballpoint), so the lines are a little shakey because of that.

Heh, yeah. The hair was mostly just a quick scribble, as that's the part I'm least worried about. I spent the most time trying to get the body and face right, seeing as this is the first time I've drawn something below the neck.

Well, hopefully by now just about everyone knows about the MMOArt contest that Gill's putting up. However, to my dismay I haven't seen anyone post thier progress on doing it.

So, I will.
