Frak, I might have to bow outta this. The monthly surf and turf buffet thing is this upcoming weekend instead of this past one due to the holiday, and Saturday might be the only day we can go. Roomie I think has plans on Sunday, gonna see if he's able to switch days. Keep a lookout for other people that would be interested in case I can't make the switch.
Edit: update, can't make it this weekend. Sorry gang. If you guys are running one the following week I'll jump on that one. -
Issue #11, Page 21 or so
I remember after I shortly met David at SDCC and discovered his website and store of original art, I think that page was already sold. I don't think I could've afforded it anyway but I had to see if it was available. I think I remember that issue had a lot of forum comments/posts on it when it came out. heh -
Yup lots of the big pin up artists have been listed, Adam Hughes, Frank Cho, Jim Lee, Ed Benes. I've always like Marc Silvestri, Michael Turner, Eric Basaldua (eBas), Andy Park, Joe Benitez, Greg Land, and J Scott Campbell.
As far as notable pages from the comics, there's a lot of them for me, both the Top Cow and Blue King runs. The issue for me that I love is the one that featured just about every trainer/signature NPC in the game, along with a lot of featured fan chars like Bayani. And of course there's always the infamous Sister Psyche bubble bath page -
cya later man, have fun wherever ya go. Be safe, lights will be on for whenever ya come back.

sounds like fun, don't think I'll be able to make this, I'll either be asleep or at some relative's house most of the day, but hope all the Tanks have fun!

Quote:Don't forget Mallrats!Claire Forlani from Mystery Men, CSI:NY and Meet Joe Black, among others. And a very nice sketch indeed.

not bad, took me a second while looking at it to figure out what was going on, but pretty cool once that's figured out
-
very slick Wassy, can definitely see Claire in there

frak... sorry I was gone on this run... I slept most of the last half of the day, a nap turned into a longer sleep that I had planned.
Put me down, I'll make this next one. -
So sorry to hear of this PK. Christopher and his family have my thoughts and prayers,

Me three of being a Guardian and not an artist, just a "when I have the money to" art collector.

wow, I remember seeing and hearing about your art when I first started collecting CoH art Missy K, welcome back to the forums.

I'm all for that Ariel, I'll bring my MM for this, should be fun.

Quote:No opposition here. Your COH commissions were/are awesome!Hey, man. Glad you posted that.
I had a bit more free time earlier in my drawing career and had the chance to do a number of private commissions for COH fans. This is one of them, and it's nice to see it here. Not technically a sketch, but if you guys aren't opposed, I could post some of the other commissions here along with the marker sketches. -
very cool combo of events Pyro, and nice presentation of it. I'm not sure I can make it for this one. Ran a few MoITF attempts today and we're trying next again Saturday, nto sure if we'll be done by the time the event is going on. Hope everyone else has fun.
I agree with Sui that PvP can be fun if done with friends and the problem PvPers don't louse it up. I haven't PvPed in a while, not since the big changes in the last few issues. But at least on Guardian a long ago we had Sunday Nights. just a bunch of us that kinda sucked at PvP but really didn't care and setup arena fights and kept playing until there wasn't enough people to get going. Played whatever the group felt liek at the time, glads, LMS, mult teams, whatever.
