The Prelude to Justice is a new roleplaying supergroup forming to be a part of the Alliance of Champions roleplaying community here. I've personally never let Security Level become a huge RP factor. At times where it bars a hero I'm interacting with access to somewhere, or puts them in a lot of danger, I'll mention it to a degree of their skill in the field rather than a number some guy with metallic forearms says he deserves.
With sidekicking and things, I'll usually quip out something to the tune of, 'Stick by me and I'll keep you on your feet' to a sidekick and the boost of being a sidekick kind of represents me looking after them and taking up most of the work. Same thing with exemplarring, but reverse. It's much harder to roleplay an exemplarship, though in my opinion.

The level 40 player still has an enormous advantage over the level 10 simply by having more powers, slots and access to SO enhancement. Even if the damage was scaled, the lv40 would kick the lv10s posterior big time.

Some offensive builds have all of their main attacks by level 4. (Dark Melee.) I think they should look at the sidekick system, when it comes to this. If you read the manual, it says that by levels of 10 there is a delination. Example, if a level 40 sidekicks a level 35, there's a one level difference, but if the same 40 side kicks a 30, then there's a two level difference. I don't think it's that way in game, but I think 10 level increments should be factored in when it comes to balancing the foundation of accuracy and damage. After this has been taken into account, slots should be considered.
In any event, I'm hoping damage as we know it has no validity to what PvP will be like, or else all of the matches would be over in two seconds. -
I would imagine/hope that what States is saying is that you can expect to essentially be playing a new set once Update 4 rolls around, if the plans for the new graphics are so involved that the current ones can't be patched.

I'll vouch for that. He did reply to a PM I sent him. The guy is the frontman for a game that's played by 180,000 players. The fact that he took the time to reply to one person out of that many people shows he cares to a large degree.
Not to be a fanboy, but I think he does what he can. -
What other servers has a decent-sized roleplaying community? I have some considerations to make about a character of mine and was thinking a new server would be a good idea.
