  1. I'd like a clear answer to the original question this thread poses.

But also, even if we lose Incarnate status for dropping to premium, please let us at least purchase it back with Points or better yet, Rewards.
  2. Thanks for the info, wasn't aware that 5 sets was the max for a set. Aside from the plain invention IOs, (which let me make SOs in the mid 30's and never have to worry about slotting again) I did not adapt well to the IO system at all, and contrary to the tips and statements, it's becoming obvious they're designing new content to take it into account. I'll play with this build in Mids and see if there's any other changes I might want to make. The main reason I jumped on Makos was the energy defense and the damage boosting.

Heal is a lesser concern since Dark Regen can heal to full with a single foe in range.
Mind explaining how that's possible? Seems the best I can get out of Dark Regen with a single foe is roughly1/3rd to 1/2 a life bar.
  3. How does this actually work? Im on the facebook page now, but don't see any chat options or anything.

VIPs still only get a base twelve slots, plus any character slots paid for or unlocked.

  6. Actually, if the account has -ever- been paid for in the past, it's premium. So, people that quit subbing 5 years ago? Yeah, they can come back and be premium. Now keep in mind, they won't get the extra stuff that longtime subbers will, mainly, extra character slots.

And yes puppeh fluffy sorta like you.
If there was an option to ignore posters and threads they create, so they don't appear on the forum lists when I check, it'd be great. As is, the problem, is when you have 25 unstickied posts on the front page, and 5 of them are rookery threads. That's a fifth of the forum first page view clogged with, well, junk.

Edit: I should specify. If there was one sticky rookery thread, and it was all contained there, you'd never here me say the word "Rookery" again. It's strictly the nuisance of stuff being pressed off first page, and it's gotten worse because now people that used to post just don't bother.

Edit: Checking the second page is even worse, 9 of 25.
  8. So, I've been toying with Mid's and IO sets looking for something to salvage my DA brute. Im running plain invention IOs currently, and the build falls flat on it's face against anything +3 or +4 which is leaving pantsed while running the trials to get incarnate abilities. Forget even attempting to tank or pull an AV. I can't even handle even con Elite Bosses without 4 stacking Purple Inspirations. (Well, I can if a defender/corr actually buffs me first, but I find that almost never happens)

The two biggest threats currently I seem to have are energy damage, and anything smart enough to use ranged attacks and get out of Dark Regen range. With my new Rare Cardiac, my resists to Smash Lethal seem to have picked up enough to the point that they are not so dangerous.

    Feedback?

No, it's because I once posted a breakdown of why something was against the rules, and got publicly told "Nah, the rules are there to enforce when I feel like it. Im fine letting this slide." So I've grown to expect very little from moderation on Virtue.

Well, except for me to get slapped around when I talk about it.

So far, about the fastest times I've seen at the highest settings are an invuln tank and an elec brute. Those guys must be MONSTERS.

But blasters, widows, warshades, and a dom have also completed it. So just run that and see how fast you go, it's designed to be just as hard on Dark as it is on Elec, Fire, WP, or Invuln.

Oh, rats, that reminds me, I was gonna build another one wasn't I.... I suck at this game....

The problem though, is it is boring, due the lack of interactivity.

So right now Im working on incarnating out my /DA, because while he is squishier than the other brute, he's more fun to play. Heck, 90 percent of my current griping about the character is over the fact Ive grown to hate Energy Melee whenever I team with other people.
  19. I've said it before, Ill say it again Dechs. If Dark Armor was half as defensive as the people who preach how great it is, no one would find any complaints with it.

Thanks for the help though. :P

Edit: And Invuln isn't that great. Elec Armor/Willpower is where it's at.

Who is this "We" and where are the posts? Asides from Arcanaville's SCRAPPER analysis which even admits it works with a "situation always optimal" viewpoint, not taking into account things such as accuracy/recharge debuffs, or situations where Dark Regen fails to work properly. (Let's not forget the lack of innate KB protection, and the fact you can't DR when you're flying through the air, on your back, and kicking back up.)

Arcanaville's post is brilliant and does provide some great insights into comparing Scrapper secondaries, but it gets a little tiresome seeing it thumped as WoG Dark Armor is GREAT when even later in said guide, Arcana admits it's not a true simulation of all play factors.
  22. Please tell me you found out about the F2P from my thread. Just lie to me, even if it's not true. It'd so make my frown upside down.
