I will say it one more time. Amazing art! I really like the environment concepts by Amit Dutta. With regards to the Comrade Hero Project, I notice some of the sample pages look similar but changed to earlier samples, has the story changed a little to accommodate maori myth? Congrats TJ. Night Hornet does some nice 3D work and if memory serves me he also has some nice comics of his characters. I really like the final piece but the test shots look great too.

Here is the latest art of my character the Peacemaker. This is just the rough draft with colors to be added later. Art done by Brandon McKinney. More of Brandon's work can be found by clicking on the image. With the game sunsetting I commissioned Brandon for a piece of art of my character PEACEMAKER ressembling the cover art for Marvels The Ultimates #1 done by Bryan Hitch. I am very happy with the rough and cannot wait to see the final in color. Hopefully I will get the chance to post the final piece here on the forums before they are gone. For anyone who does not know who Brandon is he was the artist for the Blue King Studios run of City of Heroes comics and I highly recommend him for commissions. He is a busy artist doing storyboard art but if he has the time and you have the money and patience for a great piece of art definately look Brandon up and send him an email.



I may have to go back later and commission Brandon to silhouette Atlas Park in the background with the sunsetting. But for now I could only have him do the character. Really excited to see the final piece. If I can't post it here before the game is gone I will post the final image on twitter at @Peacemaker_Hero

Ski chalet

Damn. I am 3 hours to the north and will be stuck at work all weekend otherwise I would have totally made the trip to KC this weekend.

I just finished Seven Wonders and I really enjoyed it. I had to rush out and pick up the other book by Adam Christopher, Empire City. Looking forward to this one.

TonyV's face carved into the atlas statue. Atlas Park 33 would be a nice permanent fixture to commemorate #SaveCoH. replace the guy outside city hall handing out fliers with TonyV holding a torch.

This thread caught my attention. I picked up 7 wonders today and I am planning on ordering ex heroes, ex patriots, and wild cards I. Definitely have some reading to do. Thanks ironik for this thread

My biggest regrets in this game are not spending more time in PVP and taking almost 7.5 years to get my main character Peacemaker to level 50. I wish i would have completed my architect mission and learned to demorecord to create a comic using my characters.

But the biggest regret is not commissioning David Nakayama for a drawing of the Peacemaker. I have a drawing done by Brandon McKinney who worked on ther blue king run of City of Heroes comics and always intended to get one from David as well.

I have been loyal to this game for 7 and a half years. I don't care if people are loyal VIP's, premium, or just here for free. The critics can say all they want, but this game speaks for itself and I guarantee any free player in this game is going to find something they just have to have and will pay for it - especially at the rate Paragon Studios delivered us quality new content.

Awesome work Mindscythe. Here is a class I would get an A+ in.

It would be cool if we could get wiz kids on board to make custom city of heroes of people's characters. I know they did some promotional heroclix for the game back in the day. It would be a nice way to commemorate characters as well as promote heroclix. But NC Soft would probably need to be on board for legal issues. I have never played heroclix but this might be a good reason to start.
