Just returned to the game and sure I bought new packs and GR. No matter that now all paying players will get it, I already had plenty of fun with GR. Well worth the small fee imo.

Hope the treatment works as it should and he will be healthy soon!

A favorite of my remains:
Vernon von Grun's Extraordinary Extradimensional Excursions
ID: 115174
from Igor Blimey
Where he proves that Dr Aeon is only ther number two egghead of the red side. -
1. I like the AEinvasion thing. Though the EU servers had not been visited as yet!
2. I prefer to use Triumph as our base since I got most of my AE chars there and it would be a shame iof I can't play them nomore.
3. The timing is right, around dinner time for me.
4. I would perhaps join. Depending on my mood and the timing. -
Welcome to the found son. May he not get lost to soon

I stopped writing arcs for similair resons as above and the fact that I will never ever be able to write it in correct English. Having had many comments saying: nice arc, shame about the bad english and that is after having it proofread by somebody a few times. Thus my conclusion that I better stop writing completely.
About rating things, Supafreak convinced me to change my criteria. 5 Stars would be, I am blown away. 4 stars was a good job indeed, I had good fun.
From now on it will be 5, 1 or nothing. I want to encourage authors and by no means I want to discourage somebody with a rating that makes him feel sad. -
Of course when the AEnvasion returns to a server, most recuring characters will be higher

Would I want it?
Yes.
Would I be willing to pay for it? Just as I paid for the other packages?
Yes. -
Anyone tried windows 7 servicepack 1? Does CoH still run withn that one going on?

Quote:Thanks for this information. One less for me to search for
Your Windows 7 is 64-bit. That means it makes use of the 64-bit architecture of your CPU. However, 32-bit programs can still run on a 64-bit system (usually).
In Windows, 64-bit program files are organized into C:\Program Files\
Similarly, 32-bit program files are organized into C:\Program Files (x86)\
City of Heroes, being a 32-bit application, would go into C:\Program Files (x86)\ by default unless you specify otherwise.
And, yes I can play now, though it keeps asking about deleting stuff. But the I can play now part is most important. -
Well I had to turn the AUC of. A shame because it looked like a good feature. Mind you this is my second day having windows 7. I used to run XP for a long while. At least there, I had some idea what things are doing.
windows 7 got loads of all sort of weird stuff. it will take some time to figure them all out. Next puzzle is what the folder computer files(x86) is for. -
Wooha, that is a thing of my computer. Not the NClauncher. You sure that I have to disable this one??
-
for the record, the procedure to disable this is described here? in the support section?
How do I disable User Account Control?
- Click on the Start button and then select the Control Panel.
- Type UAC in the search box with the magnifying glass.
- You will see a link labeled Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off. Click this link.
- Uncheck the box next to Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.
- Click the OK button.
- When prompted, restart the computer.

As of this upate (i assume we got one) the gameclient is dead sprouting errors as above and there is no way to to force the game to start playing since I have the wrong version now.
help? -
I got the same problem. the stupid thing wants to repair and update the whole time. This is not a multi user environment either. So how to be able to play again?
-
This sounds like a great idea! I will see if I can join this Sunday. But I hope thart you will visit the European servers soon. There used to be some AE enthousiasts. Of course I have been away awhile so things change.
