100% true. That's what top teams don't seem to understand for some reason. It's like the top 3 teams in the NBA or NFL saying "hey we need more competition", and then going around random neighborhoods asking kids to put together their own NBA or NFL team and come challenge them. Yes, it would be nice if that was possible, but it's pretty silly to expect it.
Which is why it will never happen. Nobody wants to be completely owned every time they play. And if they're willing to put up with it, it sure isn't for long. Face it, there's nothing a brand new team can do to make up the YEARS of experience some players have. Some groups of players have been playing TOGETHER longer than some people have played the game in general. And when people make a new team, they don't do it saying "oh boy, one day we're going to accomplish being the #5 team in CoH!" They do it to win...to be #1. Except in the current system, they are absolutely guaranteed to lose.
The ONLY way to expand the community is to split up the 2-3 top teams and spread the best players among a bunch of new teams. Essentially a full "fantasy draft", if you will. But this has ZERO chance of happening, considering all the ego's in this game. Plus as much as everybody talks about bettering the community, in the end everybody just cares about themselves. Nobody is going to sacrifice his own fun (playing with friends) for the betterment of the community (leaving his friends to lead a bunch of strangers that are guaranteed to be worse than his friends).
And maybe the 2-3 teams at the top isn't an ego thing as much as it is peeps who've played together for a long time and really enjoy doing so. I know there's certain players that I enjoy playing with. -

I'd for sure do a 2v2 tourny if it was small insps, no HD, no TS. If you want to believe that no insps, TS and I'm assuming HD is the way to do, than that's like saying you shouldn't get it on with the naked girl laying in your bed who's asking for it, and you're reason is "just cuz I can, doesn't mean I should"; but we all know life would be so much better if you use the options you have before you. Btw that was just an anology we all know that situation won't happen for you, so please don't take offense.
But no seriously if I had a partner I'd be down.

A hospital is typically used to describe a place where injured or ill people are treated. For instance in this game this is place that you goto when you are defeated. Typically when someone is in hospital their health and recovery is not immediately restored. They need time to rest before the can resume their normal activity. So why is health and endurance fully restored in the game? Is it that hard to click your REST toggle?
Also in PvE where the RP should be taking place (not in pvp)... you respawn in hospitals with full end/hp... the only thing that can be concluded from your post here is you're terrible at life and terrible at RP.... -

8v8s and I think people need to get over "dooshness baggers" in an online game. Otherwise we should do up gold farmers and scream "No PK" in /ac.
But I guess we all could do the right thing and take a feelings inventory to make sure we have the necessary recourses to make this work. I for one am repressing childhood memories of Dark Age of Camelot when I finally got my troll Cave Shaman to 40 through blood sweat and tears when all I had to do was wait a couple years and they'd give you a free level every 3 days on some servers and 6 days on others(provided you gained a level on your own). This was very traumatic for me and personally I think if Dark Age of Camelot had done 5 v 5's for my PvE, I could have avoided the inevitable screams of a darkling egg hatcher, and my inability to kill it on a Cave Shaman.
Then came the time I gave into pier pressure (myself verse myself) and bought 90 gold from an online website(whenever my mom walked in I closed the gold farming website faster than I did nudy pictures of cartoon characters). I was living the dream. Now I could dye my cloth armor black that I purchased from a consignment merchant. BUT THE ARMOR WAS PURPLE SO I COULDN'T USE IT TILL 50 AND MY RUNE MASTER WAS ONLY LEVEL 41.
If only I had a 5 v 5 to avoid this. Now I am haunted by the memory of paying 10 real life dollars that I could have used for McDonalds twice. But instead I used that 10 dollars and I had to boil tumble weeds for dinner for 2 nights. I ate the tumble weed with filet mignon and lobster but it just wasn't the same as McDonalds.
If only we all had the 5 v 5 option to avoid this "dooshingtonchesterfieldville" representatives, but lo and behold! 8v8s are less f*gtarded than 5 v 5s. -
