Once again this is shaping to be a true work of art.
I love hearing about how much work you put in the preparation of your media. They said the devil is in the details .....well you must be on first name basis with the man.
I am looking foward to seeing that finished -
Sorry MarDun,
As I said before I draw slow and in this case I started too many projects at the same time ant on top of it with the fall became quite busy otherwise.
Sooooo.... I kinda of had to prioritise. Right now this is my list of ongoing project with their status
1. Timeforce winners - inks done working on colors
2. MarDun vs Granemere - Pencils done working on inks
3. Achtung baby (art trade with spinnomania) - pencils done
4. The big Five (Joe Nobody)- working on concept
I do want to do a good job on each and since I usually only get to draw a few hours here and ther it is not going as fast as I wish.
Thank you for your patience -
Great style!
I love seing things that are both well done and different! -
[ QUOTE ]
The tail *does* connect to the base of the spine (right above the butt-crack). I think it just looks high since you can't see her backside.

Mmm ... Maybe it is because I love cats but to me it looks just like the perfect "happy tail" . When happy cat's tails will stick at 90 degres from their back and then curve toward their heads.
I think that those who are seeing it as too high are thinking that it does a nice slow curve and thus they think it connects higher.
DJ you can see the back. Am I tight that it is this type of tail emotion? -

Great pic! The pose is very...ROWR!
I Really like the fur. It musta been a lot of work.
Rowr has to be proud of this.
However the fur on the left leg kinda trew me for a moment. The I realised it was the white underbelly fur that continued down the leg. -
Very nice .
I like the vivid colors. -
Pencils are finished
Timeforce Pencils
I have been quite busy over the last little while Nut I am aiming to ink and color this week-end... No promises -
I love the look of this!
Looking foward to seeing it progress -
Ok
first comments about your pictures: They are a good start. Defendro would be your best among them.
Nice work with the cammo on BAS
In general you work on proportions.
Eyes: look at eyes you will notice that they are not little ovals but slightly assymetrical. Also part of the Iris is usually hidden by the eye lid when you show the whole iris it convey a strong emotion of either surprise, anger or fear.
About the feeling of being ignored:
Some of the artists here are very accomplished ( Graver, DJ, Gill Bates, Juggertha, etc...) when they post someting they get many reactions that are basically :"wow this is soooo good" The number of actual critics is relatively low. While you are good for a 12 year old expecting many comment of amazement may be a bit much to ask. I know you would like feedback to improve but giving such feedback can be difficult. Not every one feels qualified to critique and frankly many poster who ask for feedback do not accept negative comments very well.
Keep practicing. Keep posting. Have fun.
Edit:
P.S. : this was typed while other post were added and kind of is redundant at this point ...sorry -
ok This is my bestest (I know not a word)
Rage Shadow
This is the picture that when I look back at it I have the least : " Dam I messed up this" And the most :" yep this is ok"
On that picture the one thing I always go back to that I could have done better is the sword. -
This is very..... USSR. I don't know how else to say it. It feels like a propaganda poster. ( That is a compliment BTW)
-
Very nice ... Love the colors.
Anyone else just had a craving for pumkin pie? -
very nice Gill
/em looks at how high the bar is
/em sigh.... -
Graver this is at the same time beautifull and so funny.

Everything zobragas said plus:
LOOK.
Seriously look at pictures and think. try and imagine how it was done and even more importatly why. Why is there a shadow? why is it blue? Look at paintings . When you walk in the street look around. Look at the perspetive of the building lining the street . look at the folds of a dress. LOOK.
I know it seems silly bu a great part of learning to draw is learning to look.
....
... well also to listen but that is another topic. -

When I drew this I did not have his movement power. But to be honest I cant have everyone in the top part flying so you will stay at the bottom. But hey figure it this way you dont have to share your corner with any one

the other was an attempt at a comic book (never got beyhond page 2)

First let me tell you that your are not bad at all far from it.
Second I would listen to PMD he knows what he is talking about.
This being said dont get discouraged I have been doodling since I can remember and I am 41 yet looking at what some of the artists do here I am reminded regularly how far I have yet to go.
Since I am not a formally trained artist (what I know I know from reading books) I thought my point of vue might be usefull to you.
One thing you have to accept is that no matter how much other poeple love what you do most often you will have something in a piece that you are unsatisfied with. This is normal. _You_ know what you saw in your mind eye before starting to draw, others dont. Much of the dispointement can come from that fact alone. However you can turn this in your favor.
Pick out ONE thing that you are unstisfied about your last picture. it could be either the volumes, the position, perspective, line work etc... but pick only one. before you do your next project give yourself an exercise focussing on that ONE thing. Read the parts of the books you have that pertains to that one thing. When you do your next project pay special attention to that ONE thing.
Normally at the end you will find that you have improved that ONE thing. Now repeat the process.
This has the advantage that in every picture you see something improving and it focuses your eyes when looking at your own art. Also it helps when asking for help from others since they also can focus on that one thing you are trying to work on. Saying something like : " I am trying to work on poses, mine are too static I think " will get you more precise and usful answers than " this picture is no good what should I do?"
I am not sure if it helps but I do hope it does -
for me high school was the end of the seventies. I doubt I have anything left from then
. Moving several times will do that.

Mm good point . I see what you mean, he is _supposed_ to be in the forground but the 2 figures on the ground are wrong and it does give the impression he is just a torso. I will work on that.
I had not noticed it till you mentionned it. I guess my mind just saw what it wanted to see
