For those that know of people not frequenting these boards, get them to join the global channels LB and SisterhoodFriends. The MoTD in these channels will let you know what is going on for any particular event.
If you're not part of a global channel in CoH these days, you're not trying to team! -
If EoE was an issue today, spend some time farming Monster Island. The Sisterhood will be forming teams and farming MI off and on this week.
Thank you to all the heroes that came out for today's Raid, last week no one believed we were doing it and we had 16 people in The Hive. This week we spawned a Hive 2, major improvement! -

I won't be able to help out here, I'll be working. Dang it!
It is great to see events, goals and teaming opportunities popping up all over the place now. Y'all had me worried we had lost the server community there for a while!
Way to go, Liberty. -
Unfortunately, I will be at work and unable to attend the raid.

There are a lot of SGs using Ventrillo or teamspeak. Browse the Liberty group listings stickied up above and they typically list it in their info.

Quote:I remember two deaths, both scrappers and both acknowledged it being their fault for trying to run solo apart from the team. I do remember having a "fun" conversation about pulling with fireball, though.7/19/2010
Later that night, Mystery Girl (49 emp/pistols defender) joined a Sisterhood team for some Malta missions and battled the Kronos Titan. This team was moderately suicidal, with blasters running off on their own and pulling with Inferno and stuff; someone said they were "keeping me busy" to which I said "it's more fun for an empath when people are taking damage", which probably only encouraged their craziness. I wasn't always able to keep everyone alive, but I had Vengeance/Resurrect, so it worked out OK and was pretty fun overall. I had picked up Power Build Up at 49 and was experimenting with PBU'ing Fortitude/Clear Mind/Adrenaline Boost on blasters; seemed to work nicely.
The 2 blasters didn't die at all. I was on my fire/fire/fire blaster Ruby Red and I never got to use RoTP. -
I work evenings, I am sorry I'll miss this, but I hope Liberty represents itself well as this is an awesome event.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. His name(s) are familiar but he was an acquaintance to me.
My words cannot heal you, nor can they console you. But, through my words, know that your pain is understood. -
Quote:This.I'm just wondering why these events could not be held a bit later in the day? Six pm Eastern time is just getting home from work, eating dinner and on and on. Let's not mention that three pm Pacific time is smack dab in the work day and the time zones in between get no love either.

I saw DRAYGOS at a lot of our events this past weekend, I will certainly attend those Dream Weaverz is hosting as much as possible.

Thank you for an absolutely fantastic weekend, Liberty! The support for our events was great.
Thank you, Outlaw Woman, as co-leader of The Sisterhood you always do more than anyone else, including me. Without you there would be far less cool and great things about us. -
Another great day on Liberty! Thank you to everyone that has shared some of their time with us over the past two days. We really love this place and its people.

Judging by your timestamp on your post, Steele, you might have tried right about the time we had an issue with the file becoming corrupted. It has since been fixed and you should be able to access it now.

Liz had an idea... my first inclination was to run... but I listened and it sounded like a pretty darned good idea. She wanted to incorporate a song into a video that featured as many Sisters in it as we could get.
The idea was good, the will and the excitement were there. We just didn't have the talent. I went to the multimedia forums to ask for help, but it must have been the off-season because I only found crickets over there. Heh, no worries, I can Google.
I Googled, I read, I got confused, I cried, I lost sleep, I learned and I came out of the whole experience with a new posession. My first video. It is not a high tech, high gloss work of art, but it is pretty darned okay for my first effort.
It's titled "Sister Strut". The concept is Outlaw Woman's. I hope you like it.
Sisterhood 6th Anniversary Video -
Quote:Geronimo! I was thinking of you and wondering if I'd see you this weekend.Yes, once from Valor was definitely enough for me too!
On another note, Happy Anniversary to some of the best heroines I've had the privilege of knowing! Congratulations on the past 6 years, and here's to another wonderful 6. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you around this weekend! -
As promised, I am back with a status report of the Sisterhood Anniversary video.
I did a ton of reading, a ton and a half of crying, a metric ton of work and I produced a very nice video to coincide with The Sisterhood's Sixth Anniversary Celebration, beginning on July 3rd and going through July 5th, on Liberty Server.
For the cliffhanger suspense portion of the story, I finished the video about 10 minutes ago. It was completed less than 24 hrs before the event. -
Random as in we will drop a crafted IO, IO recipe, Influence, SO for lowbies to sell...that kind of random.
I will also be asking trivia questions pertaining to City Of Heroes in Sisterhoodfriends global channel throughout the weekend, winning answers will have their prizes emailed to them!
