Seems silly that they'd change that yet up the prestige earnings because SGs weren't getting enough.

Sadly, you're mistaken.

You don't get any prestige at the creation of a SG, except for the members bonus (20k for the first 15).

So, any newly created SG will have 20k prestige (for the first member: the creator)

When did this change, I'm 99.9% certain that when Gravecall set up Nightfall (Xmas 2005) it was 75K for the first/founding member, then 20K per member for the next 14?
Was it because bases were newish then?

Finding one of the others to be more fun (than CoX) though, which is a problem...

Having been alone in Nightfall until I felt it was ready for public release I got to the point of having a power room and supply, control room and supply, workshop and basic bench, TP room and two telepads and 4 beacons in 6 months, with the only help being in getting others to briefly join to help me transfer my 11 alts in as well.

Last night went like this for me:
Logged in, did a mission and started another, lagged out, logged out.

Glad I have other back-up MMORGs or I'd have lost it...

Meh, suppose I'll add myself too, but only for teams where the endgame plan is to nuke it.

if the lag issue ever goes away I have a Rad/Rad corr on 37 which I plan to get LRSF ready when I can play properly.

Guess I'll just pop my head in to CoV, see if many peeps I know are on, if not just do a mission or two and then find something else to entertain me for the night.

Think I went for 3 recharge, 2 acc and one hold.
I prefer the acc over heal for the simple fact that a boosted heal is not much use if it doesn't hit when you need it to.

So what are we doing tonight Orht?

Hopefully it won't take too long to test the patch, fix any bugs and get it onto live.

Oh well, we're still just saving towards a larger base, starting to run low on storage space for salvage and enhancements, though at least with the salvage I just process some when we start to run low on space.
We're also now coalitioned with Mercy Inc, they're a RP SG so those of you interested in some RP shananagans should be better able to get something going now.

So do people want to hunt the Rikti Monkeys for the Zookeeper badge tonight or are there any other suggestions. I know Orht is up for hunting Paragon Protectors (he wants Viridian) if anyone has a suitable mission.
Since I'm badging on Crystal Death as well as on Gravecall most things will be fine by me, if I already have it on Gravecall I'll just bring Crystal instead.
I should be on from about 7:30, maybe 8.

PS- Gravecall no longer needs Hellbane, joined a group to beat on Caleb a few nights back.

Sorry I wasn't on last night, just needed a night off. Spent half it dozing in and out of sleep due to tiredness. I still have the Rikti Monkey mission on hold for whenever the next gathering is anyway.

It might not be "officially accepting" the refund from selling something, so although you've sold something and bought something else, it's not yet added the refund from the sale but has deducted the purchase, as you do have the prestige necessary, even if it doesn't show it correctly. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws here though, but previously this was what I felt was the reason everytime it tried to claim we'd negative prestige in the SG.

It's probably due to, from my experience anyway, any negative change to prestige is instant, whereas any positive has a dely in it for some daft reason, they seem to only have a periodical check on gains. Give it a try defeating enemies with the SG window open, showing your prestige, it won't move for ages then it'll suddenly jump. Nearly drove me nuts one night ages back when I was trying to get the last few 100 prestige for another base item before logging for the night.

I've a lvl 31 mission with them, I'll set my alarm to make sure I'm up in time.

I'd be up for some farming if not busy, even if my main already has the badge my second toon (Crystal Death) might need it.

PS- Zebadee303 doesn't exist as a global chat handle according to the game, sure you've not changed it?

Don't think there was a farm this week as both Orht and myself were busy, not sure if anyone else organised one since everyone was preoccupied with the Xmas badging.

I don't think I'll be available next Tuesday either as I'll be visiting relatives and they only have basic dial-up.

As for what badges I need (assuming you've not checked the link in my signature):

Servant of Recluse + Archvillain (not suited to this topic really as I assume we won't ever be "farming" the RSF)
Heat Seeker (still bugged AFAIK so doubt we'll be after this any time soon)

The rest I need are for healing, damage taken, inf earned, RV pillboxes and RV heavies so they're not really something suited as a specific target for these farms.

Was wondering why one of your SG could be found panhandling, in the literal sense, not /em panhandle, in Sharkhead the other night.
I gave him some inf to help him along anyway.

Think I only need 2 more bosses to complete mine on Gravecall, then I'll probably work on getting it on Crystal Death, see how far along I can get him before all you guys have the badge too (I'm not greedy, one copy of the badge for the night is fine for me).

Well considering I was there at the moment of conception of this idea I assume you know I'm in for next week.
That and me being the holder of the mission for farming the Troll bosses.
