Im sorry for your loss, this might make you feel better

Think their loss is a tad more than yours, but it proves a point in mmo games.
[/ QUOTE ]
That was so very mean - but also slightly awesome the way they did it as a roleplay the whole time

The day they put timers on all missions is the day I actually construct a prankster like boxing glove on a spring, package it up, put a nice bow on the box and send it to the Devs.

But the timers are usually 90 minutes or an hour - and missions can be done way fatser than that - the idea is just to add a little more sense of urgency to things. -
[ QUOTE ]
I also think that if a team leaves a mission, whether voluntarily or by a team wipe, the mission should fail.
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe for some mission types, depending on the story - but I'd like to see a mission timer on every single mission, that would be activated only when you entered the door, not when you accepted the mission. -

So, it may be that he'll receive SOME kind of sanction, but you'll never know about it unless he tells you.
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe this is part of the offline reward system - NCSoft will send the severed head of SG thieves straight to your door? -
A serious discussion - which this was at first - is fine - but when it degenerates into name-calling, then it's no longer a discussion
-
Well, if a topic results in some nastiness, then a change of topic might be for the better

1. one who practices magic or sorcery [syn: sorcerer]
2. one who practices divination by conjuring up the dead
1. a method of divination through alleged communication with the dead; black art.
2. magic in general, esp. that practiced by a witch or sorcerer; sorcery; witchcraft; conjuration.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ok, so we'll call it neutral - makes a nice balance - witch = female magic user, wizard = male magic user, and necromancer = gender neutral
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm glad we agree on something.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's what debates are for - reaching agreement through discussion

You forgot the important part

Ghost_Raptor rising from his pit is the important part!
Fear him, all ye who dare flame, troll and spam!
[/ QUOTE ]
Not to forgot cross threaders, wrong topicers and the dreaded thread necromancers
[/ QUOTE ]
Necromancer - is that usually a male magic user, or a female one? -

No the wrath bit is the most important - he has to be like Cthulhu rising from his tomb

I think maybe they should add a second type of permission, rather than the current total access or total no access - make a more restricted kind of access that only allows you to take out items you've put in.
-
I think you should reconsider your decision to quit - you shouldn't let one event put you off a game you've had a lot of fun with.

Still not quite sure how stopping a broadcast helps Lord Recluse present himself as not being a dictator
[/ QUOTE ]
Who's going to know what Recluse is up to if they can't broadcast about it?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, it'd make people pretty suspicious

Actually he encourages her, he likes to have a voice of opposition.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah one of the arcs does say this - he likes to give people hope (hence Westin Phipps) so they don't think they're living in a complete dictatorship, but he does really control what she says - the Rogue Isles do have censorship - I've been an agent of it
Sometimes she gets over-ambitious though and tries to be a proper journalist - that's when she needs slapping down a bit
[/ QUOTE ]
And does she allow herself to be intimidated by thugs like you?
[/ QUOTE ]
She didn't, we shut down the news station whilst Arachnos had a chat with her.
[/ QUOTE ]
And did that work?
[/ QUOTE ]
Probably not, but we stopped the broadcast and got paid, why should we care what she does now?

Very nice - and the demon looks like she's showing up just in time
-
Technically, I don't think Fusionette actually gets kidnapped at all - that'd mean the Villains were planning on doing it - but she just seems to run into them and end up captured
-
Where's GhostRaptor? We must demand answers
-

[ QUOTE ]
She probably had enough of being rescued all the time - she's almost as bad with it as Fusionette
[/ QUOTE ]
That's nothing compared to WSPDR reporter Amanda Vimes on villain-side (not that you'd know about that
) - I swear there must be a dozen missions either kidnapping her or rescuing her (you even get to kidnap her family!) - she gets kidnapped more often than Azuria loses magical artefacts!
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd guess she isn't afraid of uncovering stories of Lord recluse's evil deeds?
-
[ QUOTE ]
The etymology of the word witch supposedly comes from the Old English "wicce", which is the feminine form of "wicca" ("sorcerer, wizard, man who practices witchcraft or magic"). Which means it's meant what it means for a while.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, not counting the negative things that were attached to it
