Isn't that a little...wimpish?
[/ QUOTE ]
My God! GG is baiting me! This is so unusual!
[/ QUOTE ]
Just pointing out that it's not the behavior of a barbarian
It's like waiting to out-level the jeweled thrones of the Earth before you tread them under your sandaled feet - it's just not right

I would have outlevelled the mission until they were green and turned them into mince.

Welcome to the game and the forum

A lot of the patches are very tiny, so I think it won't take nearly as long as you think to download it all.
Also, if you need any in-game help, you can contact me on my global chat handle @Golden Girl

I've never heard of this glitch of invisible bars before - is it like that even in safe mode?

I had issues yesterday - getting told my account was not active - and then today I got another error all morning which wouldnt let me post - all happily sorted now though

I got that account thing too the other day - and it was while I was actually logged into the game

Best strategy is to spread your toons around the servers.

Damn it must be lonely on the German Server.

I think it'd be the opposite - almost everyone must know everyone else - it'd be like an extended family

New badges are always good - and I'd like one for 300 and 400 and 500 too

"We need to use more advanced tactics than Spartarring into multiple mobs."

But that is advanced tactics

I am liking the change to toggles when getting held or slept

Just need it for PvP too now
-
We smashed up several during the Test event - it's a pity they changed it

One thing you could think about is making more Arena maps - there seem to be a few complaints about AI enemies "messing up" PvP in the current PvP zones, so if you could instead choose to have an Arena match on, say, a totally empty Siren's Call map via the Arena terminals, that might be quite good.
You could even extend it to normally non-PvP zones - add all the safeguard/mayhem maps as Arena maps, for example. -

I am a bit desperate noone mentioned the animated hair booster pack idea yet...
bonus emote: /em comb
bonus power: charming look with gentle windblow in the hair (foe confuse)
XDD
[/ QUOTE ]
I approve of this idea

You know, looking at that list, what GG describes sounds a lot like Historical Fantasy. Which contains Medieval Fantasy as a sub-heading. Which doesn't mention barbarians...
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah - a King Arthur story is a medieval fantasy - dragons and witches would be acceptable and expected, but minotaurs and cyclopses wouldn't be.
And it works with normal humans too, not just monsters - like in a Greek fantasy, like that movie "Clash of the Titans" - you wouldn't accept or expect knights or women with those wacky but still quite stylish pointy hats with a bit of silk hanging off the top - because even though it's a fantasy, it's still in a particular historical setting and environment.
But a fantasy fantasy, like the Conan stories, allows a blend of all kinds of periods and cultures. -

Must admit I found a big difference from when I first played my emp/rad defender to playing her now (well - 6 months ago). In the 'good ole days' emps were hard to come by for teams and like they appear to be US side wrapped in cotton wool to be kept safe - now they have been superceded by Kinetics it seems
Hence the reason my poor healer is languishing under several inches of dust on a srver somewhere
[/ QUOTE ]
I think that's just natural progression - if an AT is seen to be sought after, then more people will create one thinking it's a passport to permanent teaming 24/7, which then sort of floods the market, making the AT much less rarer. -
[ QUOTE ]
a dev team sensitive to their community's needs and desires. I think that NCNC fits that bill nicely

Good - we need and desire a lot of things

It's all to do with the right period setting - historical fantasies are like alternate universes, which means that it's based on a real historical period, but the fantastical parts come from making the beliefs and superstitions of the period a reality.
So a medieval fantasy has a medieval setting, but with medieval beliefs and superstitions made real - just like an ancient Greek fantasy would be set in ancient Greece, but would have their mythology being actaully real - and the same with a Viking fantasy.
A barbarian would be ok in an ancient Greek fantasy, but not a medieval one. -
Not so much a bad idea, just almost impossible to get people who can commit for that long in one go.
-
The Warhulk leading the vault break-in key mob for the Brickstown Safeguard says "Stop or you be shot!", and one of the Dark Vampyri on the Shadow Seed arc uses "to" instead of "too"
-
At the start, we'll only be able to select from a list of several hundred premade maps - being able to place individual rooms and corridors and so on is possible, but Positron said it'll require a lot of work, and won't be at launch.

But I said medieval, not fantasy

Oh yes, there were loads of dragons in the medieval age. Why, Agincourt would have been totally different if the English Dragon Corp hadn't turned up in the nick of time to roast the serried ranks of French Witches!
Are you mental?
[/ QUOTE ]
There's medieval fantasy, and there's fantasy fantasy - barbarians belong to the fantasy fantasy section - or ancient fantasy
