I think the "to be announced" part of the preview is more likely to cover them being able to squeeze in an extra proliferated set or something, rather than an actual storyarc.

It depends what you're after - if you're after merits, then the lower merit TFs probably arne't worth it - you can get 28 from the ITF, and do it faster than 2 hours.
But if you're after drops, then any TF is good for that.
And if you're afetr fun, then the lewt doesn't really matter, even if it's phat

I still have it, but in any case I just don't expect them to beta both I16 and GR at the same time. They'd have to roll up new servers, hardware, and everything. I'm not expecting GR Beta until I16 is live and healthily patched.

Also, Euro and American global channels are separate - the only way you could set up a transatlantic thing would be from an outside program - like a closed yahoo chatroom, for example.
It'd maybe be a bit annoying to have to tab between it and the game to keep up with the chat, but it's the probably the best way to allow Americans and Europeans to chat while playing. -

Also Virgin are one of the largest ISPs in the UK and that got bleeped ingame in a discussion on outages. Not sure if it still is, PMd ex about it ages ago.

The American servers are getting a second 2XP weekend after I16 comes out, to make up for the technical problems some of them have had this weekend.

Publish does mean a patch - it can be anything from a little hotfix to an actual Issue.
Some of the downtime will probably be for general fixing of the servers, and the rest will be for applying the new patch. -

IMHO it's silly! If the patch has been cleared for deployment, put up the patch notes including a link inside the updater when it's being deployed, not several hours later. ...but this has been going on for ages (well, more thn 5 years) so I guess we shouldn't expect the "policy" to change.
