We might get some sort of Praetorian themed booster pack
-
I don't think they'll ignore the fact that they already have Praetorian stories in the game, which might clash with the new Praetorian stories in GR

Quote:I think side switching will be opened up around level 20 - you'll need to be heroic enough to fall, or evil enough to be redeemed, and it'd be weird if you could enter Atlas Park at level 1 and then start "falling".It's hard to guess just how it'll go. You COULD keep all the PI content completely untouched, because it's late in the "timeline." GR content would just have to reflect that. Maybe you'll end up responsible getting Statesman captured by them.
However, the pre 40s level range is problematic. In that "timeframe" we don't know about the Praetorians yet and they, arguable, don't know about Primal Earth. Side switching will either have to come late in pre-GR characters (who started on either CoV or CoH zones instead of GR zones) and characters on Praetoria can't cross over to CoV or CoH territory until late-game, or they might just decide to throw continuity to the wind. -
There's also the fact that the current Praetorian henchpeople are out of date - the GR info we have so far mentions Tyrant's Praetorian Guard, and Mother Mayhem's Seers - but right now, Tyrant just has street thugs to guard him, and Mother Mayhem only has crazy people

I see they've added a bit more to the CoH animator description too:
"If hired, you will be working on a wide variety of characters, creatures, vehicles and props"
Should we read anything into that?

I wasn't riding today - that's tomorrow

Quote:They just need to replace them with non-Praetorian missions - GR is Praetoria 2.0 - there's no reason to keep the older versions in game.I could see altering the content, but removing it? People are always crying "more content!" Removing any content would be an error, especially when the new GR content is an unnecessary paid expansion. Removal of content seems like an extreme conclusion and I can't find any reasons or evidence that makes me want to take that leap with you.
Replace Maria Jenkins with a new contact with a portal related arc, and swap out the Praetorian arc from Tina Macintyre for another non-Praetorian portal arc, and replace Unai Kemen's handful of one-off Praetorian misisons with other one-off portal missions.
The "Hero's Hero" could be reworked as a high level TF set in Praetoria, with Maria Jenkins as the contact.
A replacement arc could take us to the Axis America dimension, where Reichsman could be gathering extra forces to help his comeback following his defeat on the BTF, while there's plenty of scope for replacement missions based around investigating the possessed scientists at Portal Corp, who've never really been fleshed out at all. -

I'm not sure it will be - I think the current Praetorian missions will be totally removed from the game.
But they might possibly use the story framework in GR - like the Praetorians preparing to invade, and Statesman being captured, only rewritten and fleshed out, and set in the Praetrorian zones instead of being accessed through portal Corp. -
I think GR might bring one or two Praetorian upgrades

653 here - but expecting a couple more auto ones when I16 goes live

I might be able to help - I like playing with the base editor, although I'm still learning the new stacking feature

Also, I work for free
