Is your global really misspelled like that, GG? o.o
Oops, a typo - the correct one is @Golden Girl

  3. My guess is that the banners/sigils are to summon the GMs - but who is doing it and why is a mystery

They can still be big - that's ok - but I'd like them to look more like real life

That would explain WoW's sub numbers too then

One of the big rumors with the upcoming Going Rogue is that the investment from NCSoft has allowed Paragon Studios to hire enough developers to re-write the graphics engine to take advantage of OpenGL 2.0+... some have even suggested that the "new" graphics engine will be built against OpenGL 3.2 to take advantage of tessellation: http://www.opengl.org/news/comments/...d/ [/quote]

All Positron has said is that they're doing something to keep up or ahead of the competition - but there's been nothing said at all about rewriting the graphics engine.
I think any upgrade would be more likely to be an extra level of detail, so those with powerful computers could crank up the graphics another notch or two, but those with less pwoewrful systems could keep running on the settings they use now.

Heroes are so very...very...brilliant from your point of view I assume. The only reason that most Super-Heroes are not mouldering in their graves is that writers constantly invoke that blasted Literary convention, Deus Ex Machina so that "Good" can prevail and the commericially driven media can continue, despite having their protagonists in a hole that they cannot believably escape from without destroying the minute fractal of suspension of disbelief they had to begin with.
Heroes can always escape, bcause villains get too carried away with their own evil plans
Villains seem to like to let everyone know how successful and clever their plan has been, even if the plan hasn't quite been completed

  16. Also, Mod 08 said during the test event tonight that end game stuff is quite a big thing in GR.

Well, put them outside the door then, to keep the Latin Student company - or even make Azuria the info giver - as long as she doesn't forget

    3) Helped a dozen lowbies pocket some start-up Inf.
I could see that sequence happening sometimes too
  19. A follow up to the lack of info for the event:

Any chance we could get a NPC to contact us about the event, the way DJ Zero and Father Time do for the other events?
Someone in Pocket D, or maybe the Midnighter Club, to keep with the magical flavor would be awesome - just with a brief bit of background info for the Event, and a list of what players can do, with a few hints and tips for things like ToT and the Banners.

Make them be in the Midnighter Club - it's the sort of place we'd go for magical event info
  21. I think animated hair is a bigger priority.
  22. GR will bring quite a bit of new stuff for your 50 to do

We sort of do - but as they lack invasion coding, they're not quite the same as these new Halloween ones.
