I think any new mission mechanics that appear in Praetoria will be aded to the AE eventually.

Quote:Yes, I've heard there big on the old stiff arm stuff in Praetoria - especially for the salutingNo one needs protection FROM Cole. Cole protects others. That's what the Loyalists are all about!
Mother Mayhem protects you from your darkest thoughts. Justin Santclair helps protect those overseas by volunteering super powered beings in extended battles. Clockwork protect us from the dangers of day to day struggles...
Cole's entire plan is a veritable shield over us, and I will be one of the arms to hold it up.

I think it should be Halloween only - but the devs are apparently planning on expanding and fleshing out the zone events we already have - so they'll be bigger and better

I think it's awesome that a player was hired - it adds to the nice community feel here.

Quote:And I'm sure these are the same in Praetoria too.Popular opinion.
Currently, in Primal America, you cannot yell "Fire" in a crowded building unless there's a real fire.
You cannot make death threats against others.
You cannot leave sexually obscene messages to unwelcome parties.
You cannot explicitly discuss sex to minors without written permission from their guardians.
You cannot speak profanities on television without warnings, disclaimers, or observations of time slots.
I can go on...
But I'm also sure that the list of things that aren't allowed to be said is a little longer too

Quote:And now the world needs saving form himTo be "For reals" for two seconds...
In Praetoia, the world enters such a state that people welcome and are initially grateful for Emporer Cole, I believe. Cole's first actions that put him in power were truly altruistic in intent.
Now, what he does to maintain that power is, of course, a radically different issue. The developer's have made it clear, however, that in the alternate universe where "Maybe I shouldn't..." has a quieter voice, science like Hamidon and Nuclear Weapons were reaching their full potential at an exponential rate. Cole's vision put a stop to that and did, in fact, "Save the world".

Quote:You're a villain red side because you're doing evil deeds - evil people can fight each other tooAnd why? They call my redsiders 'villains' but 99% of the time I'm arresting the same bad-guys I do blueside. Longbow doesn't count, because they're bigger thugs than I ever could be!
If the devs can be wrong about the players, they can get their NPCs wrong too
There aren't any horses in the gameQuote:GG, your simplistic views aren't going to serve you well after the horsey-rides are through
Of course, there should be, but thatäs for another thread

Quote:And who decides what's ok to say and what isn't?Speech that is re-focused and re-directed to subject matter in support of mankind's benefit and the proper recognition of the positive aspects of a free and peaceful culture is not restricting. I would argue - nay, I would proudly proclaim - that it is liberating and permitting of a range of discourse unfettered by the limiting aspects of fear and degradation rampant within a society that allows unfiltered filth to cloud the minds of unprotected citizens.

Quote:I'm working my way through the AE - I'll get to yours eventuallyColour me jealous! Now if only I could get someone, anyone, to play my arcs! 24 days live and not a single play, comment or rating. I iz a very sad panda about that. I've tried placing the details in the Live announcement thread, added my ArcID's to my forum signature, submitted them for reviews, asked my SG members, and even done short, "Play my thread nao!" requests in local while in Atlas Park AE, still nada.

Congrats again to Dr. Aeon on his appointment, lucky *******!

You might be interested to know that the Praetorians are getting some attention from the devs in the next few months

Quote:That's file size, not number of missionsEgads, that's horrible. If they increase the number of missions it's going to mean more interminable boring arcs. Whether they do or not it's going to mean arcs stuffed with even more custom mobs, the vast majority of which will be ugly and no fun to fight.

I think putting the lists together would be a good idea - it'd give all the players extra slots

And here's the exact quote:
"In the upcoming expansion City of Heroes Going Rogue, we'll be doubling the file size capacity for Architect arcs."
Silver Gale has a thread about it over on the City Life section too. -
"In the upcoming expansion City of Heroes Going Rogue, we'll be doubling the file size capacity for Architect arcs."
That is going to please a lot of people.
EDIT: Just an edit
