    This is another good thing about walking - it gives us way more time to talk while we're on the move

    Well, you can walk like that with flat soles in RL, but it doesn't come as naturally, as you don't need to make quite the same stride if you're not in heels.

    And the animation also looks good on flat soles if they're on normal sized avatars.

    Well, we're getting a walk power, so that's sort of a feature

    Plus, there's the Natural origin booster pack, plus maybe a mutant one too before GR comes out - and there's also the winter and Valentines events, which might have some new stuff too.

  10. Looking at the new patch on Test, I have a suggestion - play through the Hollows again, but only use walk as your travel power.

    As awesome as in-game horses would be, I don't think they're a major selling feature for a superhero game

    There are 3 different animations for each model type - the guys and huge guys don't walk the same way as us.

    Actually, there is some kind of backwards walking animation - I've seen it when trying to pull back from some attacks.
  21. The animation is really well done - it's confident, but also a little bit sexy - it's how you'd walk if you had superpowers
  22. Some feedback - not sure if it's intended or not, but when you try and go backwards, it flips you to face that way, so you don't actually walk backwards while still facing the direction you're walking away from.

    I'm not sure BAB, the lead animator, has much to do with fixing missions and TFs
    It's kinda like being annoyed at Castle for not making a partciular costume part, or raging at Sexy Jay for the I13 PvP changes

    If BAB has time to add extra animations, that doesn't really affect the other departments - if he hadn't been working no the walk animation, the time would have been used on another animation, not on fixing TF bugs.
