The mediport system is only available to registered heroes, not civiliains - the new hero arc in I19 actually deals with that part of the lore.

The only way to stop them making booster packs is to force them to not make the stuff we request them to make - so the next time David Nakayama tries to trick us with one of those art threads asking us what we'd like to see added to the game, we need to lie and tell him about stuff we don't want in the game, so when they turn those requests into new boosters, we won't be forced to buy them.

This thread needs more mentions of face slapping and teeth kicking - with bonus points for anyone who can work in a reference to their sub lapsing or being canceled and manage to link it to a collection of optional cosmetic avatar upgrades costing a couple of dollars more than they were expecting.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by the person who manages to make the best leaving threat - however, this threat will need to mention not only DCUO or TOR as being their next MMO, but they will need to loudly proclaim their guaranteed success and clear superiority over CoH with a straight face. -

The thing about Longbow is that they're really just good guys by technicality. Their methods, philosophy and ethics are highly questionable, but they're fighting the bad guys so they get to call themselves the good guys.
For example, not everyone the Arachnos minions fight red side would be accepted as heroes blue side - for example, just because the Circle of Thorns might fight Arachnos on the Rogue Isles, that doesn't mean that the Thorns will be welcomed in Paragon City as allies in the fight against evil
