    1 - A lot of effort.

    2 - Yes.

    3 - No.

  2. I think it's quite obvious that the what the builders really wanted to make was a sexy elite robot female sexy ninja cyborg sexy assassin droid, but it was easier to get funding if they said it was a nurse to help care for the elderly - so the only visible signs of their real intentions are the blank, emotionless staring eyes of a sexy blank emotionless sexy killer android sexy machine.
  3. Welcoem to the game and the forums

But I suggest you find a better phrase than "blonde moment" to describe those kinds of problems
  4. How many people there think all of the Preservers died on their mission, and how many think that one or more of them survived with a Hero 1-style makeover and became radioactive mutated super-beings working with the Shivans?

Without a cape, you're not much of a superhero
  8. Maybe that could be a natural cape pattern?

Looking at the speed Cryptic are turning out MMOs, I think he's simply just a very creatively restless person - like he has to keep moving on to new things, and that he gets the most enjoyment out of designing a game, but once it's launched, he turns to the next game to start the design process all over again.

What about a hover-board travel power?

    Neverwinter Nights Online

Jack's tried comic books and spaceships, so now it's the turn of fantasy to experience his vision

    Help!?!?

Welcome to the game and the forums, Everbrun
  14. Assuming that we'll never get a space station because it was cut from GR is kinda like assuming the Incarnate system will be scrapped because it was cut from GR
  15. If you're on later today, I can log on and walk you through one of them to show you where the mobs are.

Wait - Marvel prefer to have the pictures done first, and then just fill in the text afterwards? What kind of system is that?

Thank to all for replying. The mobs that everyone's referring to to get 'keys' I assume is the 'vandal' spawns that flash on the screen occasionally (and are marked with the red star on map)? Those are always different from the main map villains. Thats who I was defeated in order to spawn a side mission. If thats the case, I have no idea what's wrong.
The vandal spawns are just for bonus time - the key mobs that trigger the side missions are static mobs at fixed locations on the map - they'll be doing some emote that's linked to the side mission - like wheeling around bombs for the sewer bombing mission, or carrying torches for the arson misison and so on.
  18. The probelm is that releasing light in the MMO market today is quite a bit different from when CoH and WoW were released - now, there's simply not the same amount of time available for titles to breathe and grow - if a studio can't capture players between launch and the end of the first free month, then they're pretty much done for - they can still make a profit, but their game won't be a major or long-lasting success.

Players now just aren't patient or forgiving enough for the light release strategy to work anymore.
CoH and WoW were positioned right near the start of the MMO boom - just look at how many people there are who say that we or WoW were their first MMO, and then compare that to how many people will have AoC or WAR as their first MMO.
The problem for modern MMOs is that they're having to rely on taking players from other MMOs, rather than getting players who have never player an MMO before - they're having to attract people who already have a standard that they're going to measure a fun and stable MMO against, and they're being unfairly judged against other games that have several years of content and bug fixes in place.
  19. Do mobs even use endurance? I've never seen them unable to use a power because they've run out

I think it's another one of his visions - we'll need to wait for one of his prophets to interpret it for us - although we might have to wait a while, as his company is rather short of profits.

    That's because it is

Which is another reason to love the prequels - they kinda messed up the early fanfics too - especially Boba Fett
  23. It looks very nice

For the gloves, I would have recommended using normal opera gloves, and then rolling the part that covers the elbows back to create the turnovers, and then either startching the turnovers and/or lining them with cardboard to keep their shape.
