A machine can never have a soul - no matter how advanced a robot is, it's still always going to be a parody of a real person - it'll always lack the life spirit of genuine living creatures.

I run in circles around the walkways

Quote:So a superpowerd kick to the circuits will put you out of action?Oh, and for everyone getting rather stupid about the whole robot earth thing, heres Alphas Union Handbook page. Knock yerselves Out.

Apparently, this one has been fixed in I19 - so in a few more days it should be over - until the next one is found
-
Yes, you can - I'll be taking some jump powers once I respec

I'm Teddy Girl, and my weakness is pencils
-
But why would a robot want to take over the world anyway? Like it's not human, so it can't really relate to humans - it's a very illogical thing for a machine to do
-
Wouldn't an intelligent supervillain try and take over the world rather than destroy it?
-
Well, they could do it as a kind of holiday gift thing, I guess

Quote:For the amount of temp powers we get, we'd all need lots of pockets inside our capesI don't know about other superheroines and superheroes, but *I* have several tags in my utility cape.

I also think secret pockets inside my boots, gloves and the waistband and hem of my skirt would also be useful. -
Lasers, battledroids, supervillains or Incarnate slots?

If you mean Incarnate sltos, then the devs have said there will be at least 10 - and they could add more if they need to.
If you mean any of the other three, then I really have no idea
-
Quote:Maybe once I've got the first 10 Incarnate slotsI'm just disappointed that she even considered dodging the laser in the first place. Real Heroes would fly INTO the laser beam, to prevent it from striking the Earth. Not only that, but they would fly up the beam, smash though the weapon itself and straight through the guy operating it. ESPECIALLY in this case, where it's a robot running the orbital base, so she wouldn't even have to worry about explosive decompression.
-
Quote:But I'm a hero - I always survive villainous schemes - it's the main dramatic requirement of being a heroThat's just an application of the Inverse Law of Sharpness and Accuracy. The X-wings are dodging hundreds of turrets, and thus they will successfully evade as per dramatic requirement by this inverse law. You can't evade a single laser. It doesn't happen.

-
Maybe you could not do what they tell you to do then?
-
Some of you seem disturbingly obsessed with destroying the world
-
I'd be way more cautious if there was an orbital laser in the area
-
If a whole battery of trench--protecting turbo lasers can fail to hit something the size of an X-Wing at pretty close range, then a single orbital laser will have even less chance of hititng a human-sized object
-
I wouldn't be making myself that much of a target if I was fighting an orbital laser

A zig-zagging flight pattern would work

Quote:Battledroids? How terrifyingAnd this is why the thing has point defence turrets and an automated defence force.

Yes.Quote:What, you think I'm mad?
The same way I can fly, super speed and regenerateQuote:Also, how the hells are you breathing in a vacuum?
