Actually, I think this might be related in some way to the patch today that added animal-themed NPCs to Pocket D and Studio 55 - like it might have shuffled the list of Studio 55 NPCs slightly, moving the dancers off the list forthat location, and onto the list of PPD models.

That CAN be considered villainous, but not exactly in the comic-book-ish way; more like the actually-sociopathic-homicidal-nutcase way. The more evil choice, IMO, would be to USE the gun on Demitrovich and send her to the hospital directly.
Since when has it been un-comicbook-ish to use elaborate ways of carrying out your evil plans? Villains who rpefer to shoot someone rather than luring them into a complex deathtrap really aren't fit to be called proper comicbook villians

What's going to be the deal here?
I'd guess the Euro verions would have an "EU" put at the start - so if anyonefinds they're in a global channel that gets an "EU"; I'd suggest channel searchign for the Americna version, and containg the channel ops to see if some kind of merger would be ok.
Like the Euro ops can join the American channel, get made ops there too, then send out invites to all the Euro channel memebers to get them to migrate - set it as a perma-MotD too, so no one logging in could miss it.

  14. Also, going by what Prometheus says in I20, it seems that we can only go on to face the threat of the Coming Storm after we've defeated the threat of Tyrant and the loyalists - which makes it sound like the post-Praetorian Incarnate content won't have anything for Tyrant's minions either - like if Heroes and Villains had to unite to takew down Tyrant, then it looks certain that they'll have to unite again to stop the Coming Storm.

Also, and non-Incarnate post-20 loyalist content would need something massively evil in it to make them turn against Tyrant so they could feed into the Incarnate path - the devs already added the revelation of Tyrant's invasion plans at the end of the 1-20 path as the cue to turn against him, as well as the earlier exmaples of the evil of the dictatorship during the loyalist path to 20 - and if the mass-murder, torture, brain-washing and oppression seen in the 1-20 content didn't turn people to the right side, then it's hard to see what other evil could be shown as the trigger to get post-20 loyalists to see the light and be able to join in the Incarnate content.
  15. They might add a 6th costume slot as an Incarnate reward - like demi-goddesses and demi-gods need bigger wardrobes

That's possible - but then they'd still need to turn against Tyrant to progress as an Incarnate - unless the devs decide to make a special Incarnate path for Tyrant's followers - which seems unlikely, as they didn't even make one for Recluse's minions, who are much better established as a separate faction right up to 50.
If they'd made it so that Tyrant formed an allaince with Recluse to try and take out Paragon City, and loyalists who went red side at 20 would then be helping their master by working for Arachnos post-20, then that would have ben a sign that the devs were planning for separate good and evil Incarnate paths - but the moment they made Heroes and Villains both be threatened by Tyrant, that guaranteed that the Incarnate content would be co-op.

If they added 35-50 content for loyalists, there'd still be the same problem for the devoted stiff-armers of having to turn against Tyrant for the Incarnate content - the Incarnate system, has massively reduced the chances of separate loyalist/Villain Incarnate content.
For example, the next 2 Trials they're working on are an attack on Anti-Matter's reactors to try and shut down Tyrant's ability to create his war robots and other wepaons, and a Trial against the Praetorian Hamidon, which has just woken up again - there's no sign that they're working on anything that would suit one of Tyrant's thugs - it's all co-op stuff against Tyrant and his dictatorship.

    I heard that too

I wonder if that's it's "real" name - like the Well of the Furies is what it's called here because it was named by the anceint Greeks, who would obviously link it to their mythology.
It's called the Well of the Furies on Praetorian Earth too, as their early history seems to be just about identical to ours - but to someone like Rularuu or the Kheldians, it might just be called the Well of Eternity, as they'd have no reason to name it after anything from Earth culture.

  20. Ok, I finally got a bit of time to answer most of the questions in this thread - so, in no particular order:

For figures (particularly, faces), do you use photo references?
I'm not sure if it's a real style or not, but I call it "drawn digital" - a sort of combination of a comicbook look, as that's the soruce of the game, and 3D models, as that's what the actual game-world is made of - so I'm using 3D models with quite a lot of postwork to create the look I want.
Everything in each panel is fully modelled - I don't use screenshots or background pictures, as these look flat, and don't blend with the actual character models, especially with the lighting and texturing.
Plus, using screenshots would not only be very hard to line up to get the perspective right, but I'd also needs loads of them to cover every angle I might need - it's simply easier in the long run, and looks better, to use fully modelled environments.

An accident - I've never seen that movie

I did base Ms. Liberty on the RL model from Hero Con and other promotional appearances, but I also tried to add a bit of the in-game look, plus a bit of her look from the official CoH comics.

Flash-Man is based on a friend from high school - although he doesn't know I've put him in a comic - yet

The reference for me is me

It's how I'd like my in-game outfit to look - but it's simply not possible, as the game has a weird way of showing our busts, so to get that look I'm going to have to wait until they give us a more relaistic look
My RL hair shown in the comic is also not available in the game yet - it's like a cross between the Shy and Shag styles - but more animated

The full-page image on page 2 shows GG in a confident stance with a facial expression that conveys--what? Beauty? Sophistication? Savviness? Sex appeal? The inset image shows Flash-Man's rather flabbergasted reaction. Is it meant to be funny that he looks so surprised to meet her because she's so beautiful and glamorous (wearing a costume with a short skirt and a rather healthy expanse of cleavage)?

In the next panel, she explains, "Unarmed combat's my thing," and Flash-Man comments, "Oh," as if maybe he misunderstood her initial statement? Am I reading too much into the exchange? Or is the dialog supposed to be funny because of a possible double meaning?
I like to leave these kinds of things up to the reader to interpret for themselves - but generally, if something in the comic seems humorous, it's a pretty good guess that it was intentional

I don't actually RP, or even have a bio - when I first started playing the game, I just made my avatar as me, but with super powers - the way I act in the comic is the way I'd act if I really was in Paragon City - and if I was unaware that I was in a game
