I think that cog aura will probably be used more on robot avatars than organic ones - unless they're wearing robot style armor

And even though I think the whole steampunk look - not just CoH, but as a style in general - is ugly and clunky, I think they're done an awesome job to capture that look for this costume pack, and I'll totally be getting it to help support the game

Quote:I mentioned that earlier how funny it is - in CoV, some players complained about having to serve a crazed dictator and his evil organization - so the devs listened, and added that feedback into GR - and now some players are complaining that they're not allowed to serve the crazed dictator and his evil organizationWhen City of Villains first came out, the writers seem to have expected us to want to serve Lord Recluse and be his eternal lackey with no ambition beyond that. Once some of us realised this, we were quite upset at this indignity. Now Praetorian Earth is doing the opposite - it's painting us as independent characters wanting out from under Cole, rather than wanting to serve him.

Quote:Then go play the normal red side content, and you can get treated as sub-human insteadCo-op content is the bane of this game these days. I'm tired of my villains being treated as sub-heroes all the time.

The new zone will have new contacts and story arc content.Quote:If you are making a new zone please try and actually stick some worthwhile content other than a single TF into it.
You should prepare yourself for the "worst" - perhapsQuote:And please, please, please don't be in or around Praetoria.
The power of the Well surging because of the approach of the Coming Storm can empower and stir up all kinds of things - Rularii and the Hamidon mightn't be the only things taking advantage of itQuote:My thought was that the Sleeper could very easily be empowered by a fresh mass sacrifice or some other justification. But I see your point.

I avoided fighting the Freedom Phalanx - it didn't feel right

I read Vogue from time to time, so it's fun to see it parodied like this

They already said on the UStream chat that the Omega slot isn't the end of the Incarnate system, - there's stuff above and beyond it, so the tree is going to keep on growing
-
they've been dropping a few hints that Rularru will feature in some way in the Incarnate content, and that he's either an Incarnate himself, or linked ot the Well in some way - so I'm pretty sure we'll be getting some kind of Shadow Shard stuff - although it could just be Trtial related rather than any major zone revamp.
-
Faultline - along with the RWZ - was revamped when the dev team were down to just 15 people - they simply didn't have the resources to plan out and develop the kind of massive multi-Issue arc like we're now getting with Praetoria and the Incarnates, so they seem to have just looked for one-off revamps, rather than making anything totally new, or connected to any larger story.

If it's medieval, we'll need those pointy princess hats as costume parts, and a curtsey emote
-
For someone as iconic as Superman, it doesn't actually matter what DC does withn him - they don't really own him anymore, or have any real control over his presence in popular culture.
If DC went out of business tomorrow, it'd affect Superman the comicbook character, but it wouldn't actually have any noticable effect on Superman the American icon. -

I'm on both sides of the Atlantic already

So that test post on the GR site was pretty accurate

I hope that the I20 STF and this new bit of fiction might be the start of Positron and Numina having a more prominent role in the game.

They've said they'rre revamp older zones when the story requires it - and right now, the story is focused on Praetoria.

35-50 Praetorian co-op zone would seem to be the most likely one - we already know from GR that kthe co-op freindly Vanguard have said they're going to establish a forward base in Paretoria, and Prometheus says on the Lambda Trial that hitting Tyrant's military power will give the Primal Earth heroes and villains a freer hand to act in Praetoria - so story-wise, they've set up logical progression of our involvement in Praetoria, from hit and run attacks like Lambda Sector and the TMTF to an established presence to take the fight right to Tyrant in his own backyard.

Actually, he originally made them for Dominatrix, but Neuron stole them and gave them to Mother Mayhem instead.

And as they're fake, a puncture would probably send her shooting around the room like a balloon with a hole in it.
