Something else I was wodnering about is if premiums/freebies have to buy the parts in order - like they can't buy part 3 without buying part 1 and 2 first, and if there'll be a discount for the whole story as a "bundle"?
-
It's also quite possible that newer ideas amongst the Rikti don't really filter down to the Lost very quickly - like the "teachings" that the Lost follow could easily be from the pre-Magi period of Rikti society - or they could even be aware of the Magi, but regard the Restructurists as "heretics".

Well, we knew that Tyrant ruled his world with an iron fist, and was threatening Primal Earth.
We knew that Neuron's clockwork were a big part of Tyrant's power.
We knew that Praetorian Earth has ben trashed in some kind of war/disaster.
We knew that Anti-matter was a rival of Neruon, and had a crush on Dominatrix, and built Nightstar as a sign of his love for her.
We knew that Mother Mayhem ran an asylum and carried out psychic experiments on the patients there.
We knew that Marauder was Tyrant's attack dog.
We knew that Battlemaiden used troops from Warrior Earth to reinforce Tyrant's power.
We knew that Dominatrix was involved with pushing fixadine.
There was even a hint that there was some kind of opposition to Tyrant.
The Praetorian update in GR was more of a shift sideways for the Praetorian AVs into new surroundings, rather than a rewrite of who they were and what they did. -
Praetoria was an interesting type of retcon, because there was so little information about the place pre-GR that what we got in GR didn't really contradict much of the older stuff.

Quote:Apart from needing a chance to sit Mother Mayhem down and talk about the need for her to improve her behavior?Keep this feedback coming, I am particularly interested to hear where you guys think the story should be going from here.

A zone set around some of the settlements out west that Marauder used to defend could be cool - out on the edges of Tyrant's empire would be a good palce for us to start a full-scale uprising against the dictatorship. -
The repeatables are only available to you if you're in the 20-29 level range, or if you team with someone who is - they're not available at Ouroboros.

Some people just want to see the world burn

3 of the 8 story arc contacts are characters from GR - all of the are from the Resistance.
There are also 3 Praetors from GR that are met on the story arcs, but none of them are really shown in a very positive light - and one of them has the evil dial turned up to 12

I'm still not sure why Numina has tinted her hair when she's meant to be blonde

Sounds like he works for Paragon Studios

I thought that blowing up places filled with spandex would be empowering for those leather, spikes and chains types?Quote:With one exception. Why blowing up another longbow base! That grows old very very fast when this is your third in as many levels.

Quote:I thought that too in the Beta, because the storyline just seemed to assume that I was there to help people and strengthen the position of the Resistance, so it made me think that there was a blue and a red storyline for the zone - but all Villains/loyalists get are repeatbale missions from 2 contact that they share, plus one neutral contact that every one can access - Heroes/Resistance also get 2 repeatable contacts that they share.Really? I've been too busy <20 range to play with it, but I thought there was an "evil loyalist" path in First Ward, too.
There's not even the undercover option for loyaliats, where something like Carnival infighting would get a prompt to call Provost Marchand to discuss the situatiion - the story assumes that you'll want to help them sort out their problems because it's the right thing to do.
And for the most fanatical of Tyrant's stormtroopers, there's even one part of the storyline where they'd have to do a totally outrageus act of disloyalty to their master that's as close to actually fighting Tyrant as we've gotten so far

Villains/loyalists have motivation problems with the FW storyline, as it assumes that players want to help people for the sake of helping them, that nobody supports Tyrant, and that everyone's cool with hanging out with the Resistance and their allies, and trying to solve their infighting problems.

It's just that it was recently brought up on the forums, and one of the recent patches actually changed BAB's info to take him out of the Freedom Phalanx.
-
On the UStream today, they called the unseen person in the blue side cutscene "he".
-
By the way, in the Intrepid Informer today, Dr. Aeon mentioned that "one of the Freedom Phalanx" would die - so unless that's a mistake, then that means that it can't be BAB.
